One of those restaurants that really stands out. The food and service is always top notch. The croissants are my favorite!

Good food and prices. Enjoy a breakfast and coffee in the unique atmosphere of the old feed store along the tracks in Scott.

Came here for breakfast. I got the boudin breakfast croissant. For someone who hasn’t eaten a lot of boudin in his life, I thought it was really good. I also got a coffee, it was a little watered down, but not bad. 8/10 would recommend this place.

Best biscuit I’ve ever had: soft, but not crumbly. Boudin, great! Got eggs, waffle, and grits too. All fantastic! Only thing better than the food was the service!

The latte with white mocha was so good. French toast, eggs, grits, and bacon were also a hit! And the beignets. YUM!!!

This local diner was a pleasure to dine at, we had a fantastic family breakfast with great service and good food. Parking might be a challenge during peak hours.

Wow. This truly charming establishment truly embodies everything that makes a great coffee & breakfast spot, from its unique building and comfortable atmosphere to its exceptional food and drink offerings. From the moment you walk into The Coffee Depot, you are greeted by a warm and inviting space that is sure to put you at ease. The decor is both rustic and unique, with interesting touches like vintage signs, exposed brick walls, beautiful wooden interior, and miscellaneous antiques that add deep character to the space. The overall aura of the coffee shop is simply amazing, creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment for everyone. Now let's talk about the food - it is simply phenomenal! The eggs, bacon, sausage, and boudin are cooked to perfection and burst with flavor in every bite. The beignets are outstanding, with a light and fluffy texture and just the right amount of sweetness. But it's not just the food that makes The Coffee Depot stand out - the coffee is top-notch as well. Whether you prefer a classic latte or something a little more unique, the baristas at The Coffee Depot are masters of their craft and will create the perfect drink to satisfy your taste buds. Overall, I cannot recommend The Coffee Depot highly enough. If you find yourself in Scott, LA, be sure to make a stop here and experience the amazing food, drink, and atmosphere for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

This review is only for the coffee! Did not try anything else. We all had lattes, they were decent however left an odd aftertaste. The name is a little deceptive because it appears that they do not really specialize in coffee. The food looked tasty and the building is very comfortable and restful.

I truly love the beignets here. So for me Reve for coffee and Coffee Depot for beignets, when I am in Lafayette I wish that there was some way for me to assure you that, if I give a positive review, that I’m not one of these so called influencers who write a favorable review because they got a free meal. Cause all I really want to say is that, imho, the beignets that I was served here were outstanding and better than ones I’ve had at three places in New Orleans.

Staying in Lafayette for three days, our breakfast at the Coffee Depot was so good we came twice. Pecan Waffle was a hit, so was the Boudin Biscuit with pepper jack cheese and egg! And Beignets of course. Owner / manager stopped by the table and got to know us, a fantastic place all around.

Beautiful place, very cozy. However after traveling the world and visiting so many coffee shops, the one thing I suggest is to have a display of your pastries with more varieties. I guarantee that your sales will double. The name of the place is coffee.. so make that your niche. Croissant was very plain. There are better Croissant varieties out there such as chocolate, almonds, oregano and more...
