I truly love this place. The gumbo is exactly the way I like it. A dark, thin broth, perfectly executed. And the dinner rolls! I so wish they would share their recipe with me. Just wonderful. The salads, the entrees, well, everything, just appeals to my taste buds. It’s the way I cook. And the flavor profiles I love the most. Prices are fair and it is good value for the quality. Highly recommended.

My husband and I both enjoyed a delicious meal surrounded by a stunning view. I will be back and plan to bring out of town visitors to enjoy this incredible place.

Everything here is good, even the view. Just don't tell anyone because I'm scared the word will get out and it will get too hard to get a table 😁

Ok there is a lot to unpack here. The food was pretty good, but the portion sizes were a little small for the prices. The prices were bordering on fine dining prices and this is not fine dining. The salads were over dressed and soggy by the time they came out. The seafood heaven was tasty, but it was very soupy and could have had a lot more of pasta in the bowl, it would have also been better with a little lemon served with it or cooked into it to cut the richness. I would served the dish with a rotini or shell pasta not angel hair. It also came out of the kitchen lukewarm, while the other dish was rocket hot. This dish was also $26 which is a lot for the size. The eggplant Michelle was also tasty and a decent price, $16, but it’s just eggplant stuffing. It wasn’t served with any toast points or in a crab shell. If this was stuffed inside large pasta shells and topped with Parmesan cheese it would have been outstanding. The key lime pie was good, would definitely get again, small portion though. The one biggest complaint I have is that they charge a 4% fee for any card transactions here and at the gift shop. This is shady, no credit card companies charge 4% and it is illegal to charge a fee for debit card transactions. This is the second place in Lafayette that day that did this and it makes me not want to visit again. Raise your prices (and they were already pretty high) to cover the overage, 90% of people are using cards these days. Do better.

Roast beef sandwich was just okay, but hard to enjoy after a trip to the ladies's room. Every toilet was backed up, disgusting and unusable.

Last minute visit, 30 minutes before closing, and everything was perfect. Great prices for excellent food; excellent, friendly staff; kid friendly (had our 11 year old grandson); and just a great laid back, no rush atmosphere, yet everything was perfectly timed.

We went to celebrate a birthday. We all ordered seafood that taste fishy. I never ordered crab augraten tasting like this. I have been there many other times with great food. None of us ate the food and told server. We were afraid it was bad. She said the seafood distributor was different. Our bill was over $100 and the food was a huge disappointment. Probably won’t celebrate again there.
