Lovely coffee shop, sweet service and amazing coffee cocktails! On the pricier side but completely worth it as the coffee taste wonderful.
Can't really speak to the quality of food or coffee but after dropping our daughter off at drivers ed a little before 8 this morning we stopped by for coffee. The time was 8:01am and there were 2 ppl inside the shop. It was raining & cold out...the girl inside walked to the door but instead of unlocking she held her hand up and said, "five more minutes & will unlock." So maybe next time they'll at least let us in...
Great atmosphere, delicious Honey & Lavender Latte, and excellent Redeye coffee. Caleb was very knowledgeable sharing about the different coffees offered, extremely friendly and provided excellent service!
Stopped in for a coffee and a blueberry muffin. The staff was super friendly. The coffee was excellent. The vibe was great for a morning. I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a great coffee house.
Spicy chicken ramen was good, however they need a better system for to-go orders. Girl at the front was ready to give my order to someone else and when I said it was mine she acted weird and all of a sudden had to confirm the name with the kitchen. She informed me that they have had a problem with giving out the wrong orders, maybe she should have asked for the name in the first place.
Funky, friendly place! Parked my rig at the big public parking lot up the street. I had the tuna poke bowl, americano, and a chocolate espresso muffin. Yum. Fast, friendly service.
The grilled cheese and tomato soup has fixed me psychologically, physically and spiritually
I’ve been to Standard Coffee Co many times since Cory Bahr first opened at the original location a couple of blocks down the street. He has created a downtown gathering spot with great food and coffee. The menu will vary some by season but there’s always a couple of sandwich options, soups and salad or bowl options. The ramen is always a favorite and the are now two options to choose from. The teriyaki salmon bowl is my current favorite and you can’t go wrong with the tuna poke bowl or the smoked salmon bagel.
Exceptional. Wish they had a few more pastry selections without icing. Trying to watch my figure. Lol. But definitely the best coffee shop in the area.

Great environment at this place. Not just a coffee shop but great for lunch. I had the ramen soup and it was good!!! Food takes a while to come out but it is worth the wait. Highly recommend this spot.
Always a great place! The lemon ricotta scones are absolutely incredible!
UPDATE: 10/15/22 still damn good cubano. (... I'm to report the food is back on track. The coffee beverages are still a little too sweet for me but nothing wrong anything. The vibe of the place is still very good, and the staff are all friendly. It's still one of my favorite spots in Monroe to chill.)

The manager/owner was so mean to the employees. Yelling and swearing at them, bumping into them on purpose. It really made my heart hurt. Everyone deserves kindness and respect :’( The coffee & shop is really cute though!! They just need to treat the employees better!

Quick Service and friendly barista‘s. My latte had plenty of flavor, and the atmosphere was great if you need to work outside of your home or office.
This was my first visit to Standard Coffee and it will not be my last. I had the OG Tonkotsu Ramen and it was delicious!! It rivals my favorite ramen place in Houston. I am one happy girl!!!!
