The food was okay. Service was better than most places post COVID. It was very neatly decorated. In my opinion it's overpriced.
Not Ya Mamas is my fave restaurant. If I could I would eat here every day! The food is fantastic. I love their homemade bread and bread puddings.
The food there is very good you ought to try the pepper jelly
I’ve been coming here at least once a year since I was 16 and have never been disappointed! The huge chocolate cake is always my favorite take home dessert got to get it everytime, I normally get the shrimp Nancy(delicious!) but this time me and my boyfriend shared the boudin dip 10/10! For entrees he got the grilled catfish and shrimp with vegetables, and I the catfish Sarah. The grilled catfish was a touch salty but my food was just about perfect! Our waiter was great as well, everything came out timely!
You can make better at home. Eggplant dishes are frozen eggplant fingers.
We defended upon this place with about 25 people and very little notice when our group was turned away from a different restaurant. Food was excellent. Service was a bit slow on drinks, but then again we only had one wait person since we didn't give them much notice. But overall a very good place to eat.
Stopped here on a whim when passing through on the way home from Baton Rouge, and I am so glad we did! Sincerely the best fried catfish I have ever had!!

Last time we went, I wasn't impressed with the food at all. I could tell it wasn't their usual cook. This time, it was amazing.
The food is always great. I will say its kinda pricey for sure.
They have raised their prices but, refuse to update their prices in their menus and charge extra for paying with a credit card....* They tell you they have signs in the lobby .' Not Acceptable'. I want to know what I'm paying - Put your signs on the tables if you are going to do this..it's dishonest.... Food is Good!

This my go to spot when I want a lil drive out, and especially when I don't want to drive down to N O.
Nice decor & atmosphere . Food was just “ok”! . Our service was TERRIBLE. Waitress was MIA for most of our time there. We had to ask someone else for her when we wanted to order & when we were ready to leave . It took over 2 hours to get our main entree after ordering . However , locals seemed to be in & out in no time .
Good food but understaffed and no bartender within 58 miles. Steak was cooked really well (tasted good & hot but was well-done even tho I ordered a medium rare). It was also a really small ribeye but it did the trick. During the holidays, it is expected to have some places understaffed so this is not a slant on the establishment. Still a good place and will try another evening in the new year.
Wow! This place.was.really great. Food portions where huge and very delicious. Everyone walked away stuffed and with to-go boxes.
Couldn’t even be seated. Walked in after reading raving reviews and were completely ignored for 10-15 minutes at the “wait to be seated” sign. Saw 2 waitresses struggling to keep up with what was already in there (less than a quarter of the total restaurant tables). Disappointing.
Great food great service attended a Christmas Party here will be back for sure 😃
