Y'all. My experiences in Louisiana haven't been great, but, this delish place brought a bright light into my LA experience! The jam burger is RIDICULOUS! IT'S SO FANTASTIC! It has jam, bacon, jalapeños, cream cheese, fried onion straws. Dreamie. The ice tea was perfection, and I'm crazy picky about my tea. This was FRESH. Another home run. And the folks .. I kept hearing '"I love this song" and then they would start singing :D The young boy cook complimented a senior gentleman on his really cool shirt. Great food. Great vibe. Fun art on the walls. And that tea! I wish I lived closer, but I will return. Big love for this place. Only ask? Breakfast till close. :) I've tried to add photos, but Google errors every time, and kicks me out of the review.
Always great food, it's far from fancy, kinda tight in there if you don't mind sitting on top of others, but very traditional with the decor and service. It's a few seats outside as well, to me all it's missing is milkshakes to really transport you back in time lol. Nice staff , fast service and it's downtown.
Delicious breakfast and the pancakes were shockingly big.

Very nice quit little restaurant was surprised when food came it tasted real good was not what I was expecting it was delicious .Try there biscuits delicious. Very good prices too.
First time stopping in. I got the onion rings and the jam good burger. Delicious! The burger has cream cheese, pepper jelly, bacon and onion straws on it....different but it's a really good combination.
Miss Kate and her staff are the most respectful and full of light, Everytime I come and see them which has been once a month. The food is delicious and always served in a timely matter and always hot..don't let me forget there sweet tea oh my goodness,the best ever !!!!! 5 star ⭐ only if there were more stars lol .

Old fashion has onions cooked into it. This is a fresh made patty that’s served on a small bun and is similar to the burgers I ate when I was young. Onion rings are fresh and very good. I had the hamburger steak today and was very good
Hours posted are correct. They are only open from 10:30-2. However they no longer serve any breakfast options. Floor was sticky, tables were dirty having just opened. The onion rings were not onions rings they are shoe string onions rings which was fine however they tasted like the oil itself. The burger itself was seasoned fine just soggy and unable to be eaten like a hurgerm needless to say left much to be desired.
Great little grill. Burgers were cooked perfectly, fresh produce. Onions rings are thin sliced and cooked crispy. The burger is a little on the small side for my appetite but I’ll fix that next time with a double patty.
Don’t eat inside unless you want to smell like grease and get your shoes sticky! The food was okay. Doesn’t seem like they season their meat, but the toppings added some flavor. Cute little shop. Will have to try their breakfast and see if it impresses me more. We tried the hot bun burger and donut burger which were both eh but a lot of food for cheap!
Wish I could have tried the breakfast. I'm sure it's delicious, but the hours on the website are wrong. Update that so people aren't wasting time. 🙄
