That's one HUGE pancake!!
We had a really good time. It is not called Bateaux any more since the new owner.
Very expensive. And taste was not something to brag about. Our fries was burnt. Cheeseburger buns were cold.

Bateaux's is an hybrid between a gas station, fishing store, and homely restaurant, all accentuated by a great staff and bucolic lakeside location. The location itself merits stopping by and enjoying the view, perhaps taking a picture or three. The food itself is good, but the kindness and attentiveness of the servers and cooks that goes above and beyond makes it a wonderful place to visit. I ordered the Hwy 8 burger, which turned to be an amazing burger, and the staff was accommodating even if it wasn't the usual lunch time. And what a good burger that was! Yeah, definitely stop by if you're by the area.

We stopped for bathroom breaks. But were greeted with friendly demeanor.
The cheese sticks were VERY good, but the fish tasted like mud cat, and it took forever for them to bring the food out. We almost left because it took so long.
Service was poor. We had to get up and get our own refills because our waitress didn't check on us. The fried foods were definitely overcooked and the food wasn't great. Really hoped for more out of this place. Don't anticipate going back anytime soon.
Philly Cheese steak was good. My friend had the hamburger steak and said it was really good.
