The food is pretty good. I got here around 5pm and there were lots of spots to park a semi truck. People are friendly, and the bathroom was clean. A nice stop.

I have mixed feelings about this place The food is not as good as it was when it was the old truck stop along with not so friendly staff they serve it until the slop is gone and that's it no matter what time it is.

I arrived a little late for the cajun food but they were still making cheese burgers and fries so thats what I ordered. It was really good I must say. The only thing that bothered me was the tables weren't cleaned. Other than that it was good. The restaurant it part of a convenient store/ truckstop. I did see one mouse running across the floor so they need to attend to the mouse problem they have. Hopefully a manger of the place will read this and get that problem addressed. 4 stars is because of the mouse problem. They had a nice parking area for trucks from what I could tell but it was dark and they had plenty of fuel pump islands to accommodate probably 15-20 trucks maybe. I wish I would have counted. All in all I would stop here again. The staff were all super nice with manners and made me feel at home.

This place has plenty of parking, although later in the evening fills fast! The food is good but I was a little disapointed because it wasn't up to LA standards in my book. The service was friendly but it does mention it has a cafe but it is just a hot food counter where you can order food and go sit at tables. No waiters or waitress. (The old building use to be an actual cafe). Overall not a bad place to take a 10.

I will go to the restaurant in the casino next time. Four stars for the hot bar. That is still saying something.

I drove a truck in 48 states. The first time I stopped here was in 1978 shortly after I started trucking. For the next 30 yrs. I NEVER went past without stopping. You MUST try the gumbo..FANTASTIC.. Then there are Boudain balls. One taste and you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Jesus himself was cajun.

This place has lost all of its charm since the renovations. I was excited to stop by one of my favorite small diners, sit down, take in the ambiance, and get some damned good gumbo. But I was so disappointed to see how cheap, bland, and boring the new location is. As much as I used to love the place, I won't bother coming back here again unless they can restore the small town Louisiana Diner atmosphere that they used to have.

Seems as though all of the service people there are just like"there." No one's jumping over anyone to be of service to anyone. The food is mediocre at best. The casino doesn't have a nice variety of games. The games seem to be outdated.
