Real story. Sunday, two days ago, I was in line for over 20 minutes. It was about 5:40. Took 20 minutes to move 4 cars
Used to love going to this coffee house. When I pull up in the drive thru i know what I'm ordering and what I want. But with the recent change in crew its getting really aggravating to have someone tell you everytime you go that they believe you're ordering wrong and that it should get this rather than that.
Scene: A horrible day, a downtrodden spirit, and a beaten body--our customer enters expecting nothing more than a little caffeine to carry his beaten corporeal husk for a few more hours. He makes his way sullenly to the barista. A young lad by the name of Mikael stands ready to take the order. Mikael senses the broken spirit within our customer, and a twinkle shines in his eye: he knows what he must do. Our customer orders what he assumes to be a normal Turtle Mochassippii. Little does he know, Mikael is the Master of Mocha, the Captain of Coffee, and the Lord of Lattes: he is the one long ago prophesied to bring hope to the masses. Mikael takes the order, gives a half nod and a regal half smile, and begins his ritual. Mikael puts his hand to his chest, pushing aside his barista apron, to reveal the long lost Amulet of Affogato. Our customer gasps: the legends are true! There is a only a single second to grasp the gravity of the moment, then, a spark. The little burst of light flares into a beam of pure energy emanating from the mighty hand of Mikael, whose hair has turned a shock white color and pulses in waves from the force generated from the amulet. With his free hand, Mikael holds up the finest quality coffee beans known to man. With a swift and fluid motion, he brings his hands together, joining the beam of radiant light and the beans. The smell of the roast was beyond anything human nostrils had ever known; it was as though the breath of angels emanated throughout the room. Then, as all onlookers began shielding their eyes from the brilliant ray of light before them, Mikael begins reciting the ancient incantation thought lost from long ago: "Eeffoc eurt, eeffoc taerg--emoc ot su dna etanieffac!" The ground shakes, and the beam becomes blinding. The mortals present shield their eyes: they are not worthy. Mikael raises his arms; a great blast of cold air blows the store doors off of the hinges---ancient, pure, untouched ice from artic glaciers appears. Mikael
Quiet location and good coffee. All staff pleasant except 1 person. Couldn’t connect to CC’s wifi and she didn’t want to help she wanted me to use “Firehouse Sub’s” wifi. I paid for your coffee and I want to use your wifi not another business’s wifi that I didn’t buy a service from. Which is the reason for 3 stars.
The coffee isn’t bad, unlike everything else. Their wifi goes out. Constantly. If you are looking for a place to do some work and enjoy coffee and company, this is not the place. They also have a side door that opens up directly into the drive-thru lane, which is dangerous enough as it is, but management still allows employees to go in/out even at peak times. Recently, one of their baristas opened the door directly into my Audi S5! This is not a lightweight door, it is a massive industrial door. Fortunately, it only hit my bumper but still took a chunk out of my car. Honestly, I don’t even blame the barista because she was just a teenager, it was a windy day, and she had her hands full. Management should have advised them not to use the door. I reported the issue and when asked what they could do to make things better, I asked if they could comp my drinks (~$27). Management said no and sent the poor girl out to my car to get my insurance. I told the crying girl not to worry about it. Hard not to sympathize for her. Management, get your *%^# together and take responsibility for your ineptitude. And for Christ’s sake, fix your wifi. Your a coffee shop!
This is literally the slowest CC’s drive thru I’ve ever been to. Anytime i come i wait 15 minutes or longer in the line. coffee is good though.
Had coffee there Saturday with several members of my family with great disappoint. We all ordered white chocolate mochas and mine was soooooo bitter I couldn't hardly drink it. Had my sister's taste and they agreed mine was horrible. I hate with a passion to complain so of course I didn't ! Paid almost $7 for nasty coffee !!! S. Terro
Waited 15 minutes for a grande cappuccino with 1 couple in front of me when I ordered, 5 people running around behind the counter like ants… but nothing actually happening to get orders made. Mind boggling.
My coffee was made wrong and literally tasted like dirt. 🤢
They definitely appreciate the regular customers and actually remember what you drink.
Service was outstanding and my sugar free hot chocolate was perfection! Enjoyed my pit stop!
Not a bad stop for coffee. I ordered a shaken espresso and confused the guy a little, but turns out they call it a 22 or something. I tried to do some work on my computer but the internet speed here was very weak. I didn’t end of staying long and decided to move somewhere else to work.
Just waited in line at the drive through for 33min and eventually had to leave or I would have been late for work. That’s ridiculous and there is no reason for that. Won’t be going back.
Coffee and turkey sausage egg and cheese croissant were good and I wanted to give this place more stars but this is why it fell short: I also ordered a banana nut muffin which was suppose to be warmed up but it was very cold instead and I also ordered an everything bagel which was not suppose to be toasted but it was toasted, burnt, and so hard to eat that I almost chipped my tooth trying to take a bite of it so unfortunately had to throw it away. If we love your coffee, the least you could do is listen to the details of your guests order and show us they you really do love your guests, because sadly I didn’t feel the love this morning….and seems like others have expressed this feeling prior too!
The wait in the drive-through is too long. I always ask for what I want and get a different size, or a completely different order. Not worth the $, looking forward to other options in Carencro.
Definitely the best coffee in Louisiana, HANDS DOWN. There Turtle Mochasippi Fraps are amazing. Anything Mochasippi, you can't go wrong!!!
