The food is actually quite tasty; plus there’s an assortment of great hot sauces to try. The downside is the time it took to receive our order. They allegedly “lost” our meal, and we had to wait about an hour and a half in total to get the rest of our food. But hey, at least it tasted great.

The food was good! The cashier was very nice with us, in general the services was good, we ask 2 fish combos 3 cups of rice and beans that was delicious and 3 beers, was $75, the food come in baskets, I was waiting more fish than fries potatoes, but thats fine! Over the table you can try all the tabasco so this is very good! Thr menu in the entrance was very simple, I saw in google maps more options than what I saw in the menu.

I had the trio sampler and it came with etoufee, gumbo, and red beans and rice. My husband had fried fish and shrimp. Both were absolutely delicious and yes I’m from southern Louisiana! Delishhhh ❤️

Not bad, kind of your classic tourist restaurant. Food is good, just not what you would call artisanal. Not a bad thing, just giving a description. It is cool that they have every brand of Tobasco you can find and maybe some that you can't. If you skip it, it's not the end of the world, but it does sort of add to the overall experience.

Had a very fresh house salad for lunch, (with a side of chili) and decided to sit out back on the porch to enjoy the birds engaging in playful chirping over my meal. About 2 bites in, I noticed that taste of garden freshness starting to saturate my pallet, and let me tell you, I felt time shift to when this was how we used to eat. Very good service, gorgeous surroundings and great food. Will return. S/N: Scorpion sauce is not to play with! Grown man stuff there! 🔥🔥🔥

A good lunch spot. I ate on the porch in mid April, and it was sunny with a cool breeze. Service was friendly and efficient. I started with a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo. It arrived with big chunks of meat; however, the stock or broth wasn’t flavorable. Overall, it was OK. My colleagues ordered the fried cauliflower as a starter, and it had a nice spicy flavor but it wasn’t crispy. My entree was the seafood platter with fried shrimp and fries. A generous serving of shrimp, and I couldn’t finish all the fries. The shrimp was crispy and fried well. Prices were reasonable. I would come back for lunch.

Best red beans and rice I've ever had. I live in the area and expected the food to be bland tourist food, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the food was excellent!

The food was delicious, but the best part of the restaurant is the service. We had a situation that needed to be taken care of, and the manager took fantastic care of us.

Despite what reviews say the restaurant was the best part of the factory tour. The people were very friendly and the food was great, I couldn’t even eat both pieces of fish they were soo big. Me and my girlfriend ate for under 30 dollars, which made it a great stop before doing the jungle gardens. It’s definitely worth checking out

I have to admit… I expected the food to be bland. I was wrong. Fried catfish & boudin egg rolls were pretty darn good. On a side note I never thought I would be impressed by a dip but they have the best tarter sauce I have had to date. It is so fluffy too.

Friendly staff, decently priced food with nice portions. Well stocked hand sanitizer at all exits. It's not your traditional tourist trap in Louisiana.
