Great coffee, baked goods and a filling breakfast burrito make this spot on the edge of New Orleans well worth a visit. Hard working, trained crew keep the area spotless. A drive through for those in a hurry, Wi Fi for the studious or just fact checkers...
No coffee on Saturdays?
I'm not one to typically give low reviews, I'm giving two stars because I hate giving one stars. But, I feel as if The Coffee House in Arabi has been gradually declining in quality. My SO and I typically get a Dirty Chai Latte and a regular Chai Latte both with either Almond Milk or Oat Milk. Our past 5 visits, one including today, our drinks tasted like 90% water, and 10% Coffee/Chai. We tried introducing my mother in law to The Coffee House Arabi tonight, but was met with the same conclusion, "Where's the Coffee? It's just mud water.". The past 5 times we've just dumped them in the sink, including my mother in laws, since they weren't that great. Wasted $23 (Including Tip) tonight. We keep going back in hopes that it would be back to the way we remembered them, pre 2022, where their Coffee's and Chai's were flavorful and the best around. Now, I think we'll just take the extra 8 - 10 minute drive to the Starbucks up the road. I do have to say though, their staff has always been amazing. Even when we enter the store, the staff welcomes you and also strikes a conversation with you. Many places, their staff will just do the bare minimum to get you in and out. Pre-2022, hands down 5-stars.
Smooth and wonderful on the pallette
Stopped by this coffee place on my visit to Nola. I got an iced French vanilla chai latte w/oatmilk and a brownie. By far the best iced Chai latte I've gotten since I've been in LA. Excellent customer service
This place is a gem. Good coffee. Friendly staff. Great internet. Open later. The vibes are good. If you're just passing through, give this place your money instead of Starbucks or PJs.
Great frozen Coffee, just a little on the expensive side. Employees super nice !
The best coffee shop for vibes and for coffee in St Bernard.
Coffee was delicious, but then PJs or CCs. And it's a local business.
I ordered a 4 shot, 20 oz. vanilla Latte, half the syrup. I was asked once if I had requested a flavor, then I was asked again what kind of flavor. After some waiting, I received a 4 shot 12 oz. Latte - no flavor at all. My better half's drink had been created without issue - so I was happy that she received what she had ordered. Instead of relying on fancy iPads to take our order - perhaps your Baristas should work on their customer service skills and actually remember what their customers ordered. An all accepting, free-flowing, love everyone environment and inclusionary mission statement all fails when your basic function of providing your customers with what they have paid for fails.
Wow! I’ve been coming to New Orleans and staying in Holy Cross for several years and just tried this place! I’ll be back! My morning walks usually take me towards ByWater and the French Quarter, but this morning I headed in the opposite direction. The change in the routine was a wonderful experience. This place feels like home with it’s laid back vibe, and warm atmosphere. It feels real - if that makes any sense. The cappuccino was delicious as was the chocolate chip cookie. The service was friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for things a little more authentic, then a visit here is in order.
First time trying this place, delicious, I will definitely be back.
The coffee house is a well designed establishment. Most of the people are friendly. The ice drink the caramel Frappuccino was like by the person that was with me, but it seems very few coffee houses here in the south can make a good cappuccino.
Nice interior, friendly service, great almond pastry, and good coffee! What more could you want? Drive thru seems to get busy but you can also park and run in to shorten your wait.
Has a good atmosphere and in a convenient location. We had fun playing board games while drinking our coffee. 😀
Always a wonderful experience, the atmosphere is so welcoming and just so chill! Their frappes and croissants are AMAZING!! If you have never been, you need to try them out! I promise you will be hooked and end up being a regular customer!
This place is awesome. Great coffee, chill/fun vibe, breakfast burritos
Wonderful staff and atmosphere. Excellent beverages!
I REALLY love this place. The vibe is wonderful and the coffee is great. I also get local honey from them.
The Coffee House in Arabi is my favorite place to go. It’s always clean, staff is very pleasant, and coffee is delicious!
