Great place to eat
My girlfriend and I ate lunch takeout from here today and it cost $30 for 2 lunches which I thought was a little expensive. The food was good but the amount of food that was given just wasn't enough for the price being charged. So for the amount of food I had in my box I'm giving them 3 stars. If my box would have been full like they used to make all their lunches I would have given 5 stars all day.
It's noisy place especially when they start dragging the chairs,
Our first visit. Enjoyed the cheeseburgers but ask them NOT to toast the buns. The buns get to hard the way they toast them. A grilled bun in butter would be much better and more traditional. The burgers were delicious.

These fries are horrible no seasoning I added seasoning just so I could eat them!!!! They taste old and I’ve ate here a lot tonight was by far the worst!!!

Seems like every time we call for a roast beef poboy they are out of bread and want us to buy it on a bun...Ain't that hard folks...We just buy it elsewhere...We got to where now we don't leave Bogalusa or Columbia without calling ahead.

A local brought us to this place. It was our first and last visit. Our food was served cold.. like came out a refrigerator cold not from sittng out too long. When we asked what could be done the server said they could throw the chicken back in the fryer to be fried a second time. My chicken was baked. Our food took 30 minutes to bring out one item. Then only one person''s food was brought out every 5 to 10 minutes. So we could not eat as we were waiting on everyone to get there food. We probably sat there for about an hour before the whole table was finally served their food. There was only 4 of us and we ordered the "daily special" except for one which was ordered hamburger and fries. We literally had a whole conversation about fries with the server bc they had to be ordered a la carte. The server showed us on the menu and we requested her to make sure to add fries.. Of course the order was messed up, the server said she didnt order fries eventhough we had an entire conversation just about fries. We tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but she didnt try to apologize nor try to fix it. She had a poor attitude with no regard to customer service. I would not recommend or suggest this place. They have absolutely no customer service & poor food quality. The local that brought us there was shocked. She said they must have had an ownership change. She could not believe how bad the food and service was. She was apologetic for recommended us go.

Delicious home cooking with generous portions and a low price. Definitely glad we stopped by.

Wednesday is chicken n dumplings day best to get at 11 it goes fast selling .
