Stopped by for coffee today. Staff are friendly. If your Australian this coffee is barista made and not bad. It was made a tad too hot for us Aussie coffee lovers. So far the best coffee we’ve had on this trip.

Well these are just about the nicest people ever! The cappuccino was delicious, as was the Southern bagel sandwich (hooray for pimento cheese). The staff was friendly and helpful! Thanks for making my first trip to Louisville off to a great start!

We just stopped in while we waited for our experience at Barrels and Billetts to start. I ordered the drip coffee and a blueberry muffin. Both were very good. I'm a Starbucks girl, so I am always unsure about trying other coffee. The girls behind the counter were very friendly. The place was very clean and had plenty of room to sit back and enjoy our coffee.

I can honestly say that this was the BEST cup of coffee I have ever had in my life. The sandwich was also quite tasty, but, oh my goodness, the coffee 🥰

This coffee was delicious and the girls working there were so kind and helpful! If you ever are walking in downtown Louisville make sure to stop here for a nice pick me up. They let me know the owner roasts the coffee from his garage. Support local.

This was not quite as craft of a coffee shop as I had hoped. It seems more like a local version of Starbucks. The breakfast sandwich was also kinda chewy. Not quite the local cafe I was looking for on my trip

I have been craving a good frappe since my favorite cafe closed a few months ago, and I haven't had much luck...until I discovered this place! My husband and I stopped in for frappes (mocha and caramel) and they were splendid!! Not only were our drinks phenomenal, but the staff was super friendly! They definitely added to the already welcoming and cozy vibe! If you get a chance to stop in, DO!! I am so glad to have stumbled upon this hidden gem, and will definitely be returning the next time I'm in the area! Thank you, Blackbeard Espresso for creating a cozy place to just "be" and for making our first visit a pleasurable one! Can't wait to visit again!!

Great little spot in Downtown Louisville. I buy drip coffee and bags typically, but I have tried lattes. Everything is typically on point here. They roast their own coffee which is great. Louisville has a lot of quality roasters and Blackbeard is definitely in the top tier in my book.

Had a wonderful lavender latte and an amazing breakfast sandwich at this small but cozy cafe. I could eat that sandwich any day of the week, it was so good.
