This little restaurant is the absolute best! I love the Irish atmosphere here!! They have imported Irish candies and coffee and teas ect.... It's a little taste of home for us!! The service,food, feeling, location,and people are amazing!! I hope this spot is open for many years to come.. Everyone should be fortunate enough to experience the feel,energy,and food here!! Please visit!! I promise you will not regret it!

Decided to stop here for lunch on our way by & we were not disappointed! The food was FANTASTIC & although they had a line to the door the service was extremely quick. Would 100% recommend and stop again.

AWEMAZING!!!! From start to finish. Pros: 1. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! Entire restaurant, store is pristine. Huge first impression. (and my #1 critique for a restaurant) 2. The customer base, locals who are obviously regulars are just downright wholesome, clean "good ole boys". Polite, pleasant, watched them clean and wipe off their tables before leaving. They know. 3. Wonderfully friendly down-to-earth staff. 4. FOOD: Generous portions and made-to-order food, yep, ya gotta wait on it to be fixed but so worth the wait (not fast food, this is the food your granny would've cooked) DEELISH~ 5. Cant wait to try EVERY SINGLE THING on the menu. Breakfast was so amazing that now we have to see what lunch menu offers. Cons: not open 7 days a week 😞
The restaurant is so quaint and delicious! I would highly recommend visiting at least once. It is so affordable for the quality of food. Their back patio area is a great place to eat, because it is so tranquil.
I have lived nearby and passed this place so many times most of my adult life and somehow never ate here. They are the perfect little home cooked breakfast cafe. Great atmosphere, clean, delicious food! Now that I’ve been, I’m sure I’ll be back regularly.

Absolutely amazing Dixie Fried Potatoes and the eggs were cooked perfectly. They also have a nice selection of drinks and snacks in the store.
I stop in whenever I am passing through to get to Nicholasville. The last time I was in, my guest and I had a country ham sandwich that hits the spot. Ranging from a delicious muffin, milkshake or one of a kind dishes with the home cooked taste. Excellent place and friendliest of people.
Anytime I have to take my hubby to work I stop in for breakfast. It is always hot, cheap and fast. You get a really good portion too. I have never been there where it wasn't super clean either.

We were in Nicholasville and looking for a local place to have lunch. Dixie Cafe is just a few miles from Nicholasville and near the intersection of Keene Rd and Harrodsburg Rd in Jessamine County. This place is amazing! Everything on the menu looked great. We asked some of the locals what was good and all of them said that their breakfast was amazing as well as their lunch items. For me, it was a tough decision between the 1/3 pound burger or the daily special which was the chili dog, fries and a drink. I had the chili dog and it was delicious. Great chili on the dog and the fries were good and crispy. We will definitely return here again and again when we are in the area. A short trip off the main road in Keene, but definitely worth the drive! A+++

Perfect place for a quick stop and a hot breakfast! Plenty of delicious food - we got the Dixie with sausage, fried potatoes, scrambled eggs and a biscuit. My super hungry boyfriend left feeling very fat and happy! Will definitely stop by again!
Love this place, very nice little country store along with a super awesome Cafe. Love stopping by lunch every chance I get. They have a little balcony that looks over a small creek and the woods, people will love it.
I think this is the BEST food I have ever had! The staff is so nice too! It clean and has everything you'll ever want in the store. Plus the view in the back is amazing. I will defiantly come back!!
