Not a resort by a long shot. At best, an old efficiency apartment. Lacking the comforts of a real hotel.
Good place to get a good night rest
Is there wasn't anything else working down there a couple things that I know it might be alright admit I wouldn't want my vehicles down there around them to that works there now
It was a beautiful place to stay. Rooms were clean and tidy. Needed an extra towl and they were Jonny on the spot. Only docked them one star because my bed was hard..very firm. I Called and asked about other beds but they said they are all the same. If I stayed again I would pack extra padding. The cooffe/ food joint was amazing! Ate breakfest and the baskets and gravy was better than most. My wife loved the Java and fresh pastry.
perfect for fly fishing, near Hatchery and the Tailwaters. Rooms clean, coffee maker and fridge and staff/owner were always available. came in after hours and everything was just like described. Will use for next trip!
We loved our stay at the Timber Pointe Resort! Would definitely recommend. Very clean, comfortable, quiet rooms.
Great place to get away from it all. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable enough for a guy who's been on a motorcycle all day long. Lot's of scenic places to ride in the area and plenty of twisty roads. There is a restaurant there serves a good enough variety of food for the hungry traveler. Breads are all home baked. Coffee is the best. I'll be back.
I love visiting Timber Point every-time I come! I have been coming here all 27 years of my life and lots has changed over the years but it’s still the same, fun, family friendly, collective of good people it always has been! Close to the lake, good rates, and now a coffee/food shop right on site!
Had a great time!
Nice stay
Always nice place to stay. The wall paper in the kitchen above the sink peeling off.I think that is small. The beds were nice the room was clean the air was ice cold. The location is great for that end of the lake .The people who run it seem very nice. I give 4 stars fix the wallpaper and that is a 5 star all day long for a lake getaway. Great little coffee shop and a place to eat right on site .Looks really nice but I did not eat at the restaurant. Also a nice pool area.Been going to this spot for a while now . June 2022 We have stayed here quite a bit it is always clean and friendly. A little worried about the price keeps climbing hopefully that levels off . .Just changed owners again so having a few growing pains this trip short of staff but the house keeping staff are great as usual always helpful and kind Amanda is a gem does it all. Will probably be back because we love the location.
Always a pleasure to visit. Has a coffee shop in Camp grounds. They have amazing food there plus close to the lake. Should definitely pay a visit to Pepes while you're in town
Great little get away in a hurry to get there, no 2 night min. Great rate, clean, very friendly and secluded
I am a repeat customer of Timber Pointe for the past several years. We have always enjoyed our stays there and loved the amenities it provided for our kids when we are visiting family. This particular trip left a sour taste and we will not be returning. I called a directly to the resort and booked my room with the staff. I was quoted a price of 303 and needed to pay 1/2 up front which I did. I was very clear that I wanted the 4 bed suite as there were 5 guest and we had stayed in room before and even clarified the price. There were two witnesses to my conversation. Upon a arrival we were placed in a two bed suite meaning it had a kitchen. Upon calling and talking with the person on call my husband was told they have young High schoolers and they must have misunderstood or quoted the wrong price. The room we were told we would have was available but he was told the only way we could get it was to pay another $112 or would have to make due and have someone sleep on the floor. I’ve asked for a refund so we could find different accommodations that would work and he was told no because we already checked in. I called back and was told there was no one else I could speak with as I watched the person walk into the owners home behind the lodge. After a return phone call from the on call person their fix was to put a flimsy air mattress on the floor for one of the kids. Meanwhile the other room sat vacant. When I asked to speak to the manager owner the next day she continued to say that it was a misunderstanding but we shouldn’t expect the 120 room for the price we were quoted. She also stated she heard the whole phone call the day before but instead of coming and talking to us directly as the owner she opted to buy a cheap flimsy mattress. They are a small business and they can’t afford to give rooms away was her excuse. Yet the suite was still available if we wanted it. I was not asking anyone to give a room away I was asking that they honor the price we
We stayed here only because the Google reviews were good. I was a little leery of it. Got there and it's a super clean cute spot. I bet it's very popular during the summer. The TV in the room is on the small side. I wish I had a recliner or something in the room to sit and watch tv. It did have a little bar area in the room with some bar chairs. I was looking forward to a nice bath but only a stand up shower. These are the ONLY reasons I didn't give it a 5 star rating. They also have a restaurant on the property which is very nice since it's about 10 miles out of town. It is very close to the lake though.
Clean rooms, good prices
I didn't stay here. The review is just for the restaurant. We ordered a pizza for the three of us. The cashier suggested an appetizer since we weren't sure if the pizza alone would feed three adults. She recommended cheese bread, which we got. We sat down and about 10 minutes later a lady came out saying she had our "hot honey sticks". We let her know we didn't order that, but ordered cheese bread. She said that's what it was. We were confused, especially when she told us it had cauliflower crust and was drizzled with actual honey. She assured us this was our "chesse bread". The look on our faces must have clearly showed our skepticism as she said she would take it back if we didn't like it. We each had some, but we didn't care for it. The cauliflower crust wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either - just bland and had a bit of an odd flavor. The honey doesn't work well on cheese. My dad is diabetic and isn't something he should eat. I don't know why the cashier didn't explain what it was. She called it cheese bread. The place is nice and quaint. There's only two or three tables. The rest of the seating is couches, so you may have to eat off of your lap. Pizza was okay. They offer coffee drinks and a few sandwich options, but I haven't had them.
Great place-great location
