Oddly tried to pay for gas and it wouldn't take my card as the pump had a prepaid amount already. Filled up and had to go inside to fix the mess of the teller authorizing the wrong pump.
So, I couldn't wait to write this review. I just so happened to visit this store today and had thee rudest customer service I think I've ever had since being on this particular run. I drive this stretch frequently for work, so at any point will frequent this store. Yes, it happened this morning as I stopped to get coffee and a few more items. When I approached the counter to be servc'd, I politely said, "goodmorning" to the seemingly young caucasian girl who was the only one helping customers at the time. There was NO response other than, "Will that be All?" The manager was also sitting in a chair behind the counter doing something I'm assuming "really important". I say this bc it was obviously so important he was unable to pay attention to the employees behavior and correct it; unless he took corrective action at a later time. But, I strongly doubt it as it seemed this was the norm for employees to be this awful and rude to paying customers. To make it even worse, she was also carrying on a full convo with what seemed to be an off duty coworker who was visiting and talking about her truck needing repair blah blah blah. So much so, the ON duty clerk must've forgotten the most important piece was to pay more attention to the customers and engage in a more polite and professional interaction. After I paid for my items, I still smiled and said.... " Have a Good Day!" And still, no response whatsoever! I will probably go back to this station bc they actually have thee best coffee station I've seen at a gas station - so shout out to them for that. I don't mean to make this about race although someone else in my position would probably feel that way being of African-American heritage. I also don't mean to get her or anyone else in trouble however, I just think some further coaching and or training needs to be set in place for this establishment --- to conduct professional good customer service practices in the immediate future.
Maybe I just hit it at the wrong time, but this is one of the dirtiest little gas stations I've ever been in. Around the drink area, something had been spilled all over the floor and then just smeared around, and it was black and sticky and nasty. Unfortunately something had happened very similarly in the men's bathroom. Just terrible..
I drive for a living patronizing vhundreds of gas stations annually. The staff at this one was among the best, happy, efficient and helpful.
I was the on the 14th of November I fuel my truck and buy 2 items there. my total was $72.21 I only Gas up $21.00 dollars my change supposed to going back to my card but I haven't received anything. Try to call the property can't get through.
This was one of the dirtiest Thorton's I have ever stepped foot in. The floors needed mopped badly. No clue how long it had been since the bathrooms had been cleaned. The lid holders for fountain drinks, I didn't even want to touch, ½ of the covers were broken and they needed stocked.
Decent bathrooms and prices. Staff are moderately friendly.

The employees at this location are never friendly or personable. The price for unleaded gas today says $9.99 on both sides. This is RIGHT NOW 11/26/2020 at 2:25pm CST. LOL

Never heard of them until a friend from work recommended them. Their work was excellent and had me done in a little over an hour. It was driver and passenger side windows. Rear and brow on front window. Awesome job by the guys!

Everything is stocked and staff is excellent. Temperatures was perfect.
The employees are friendly, the coffee was terrible. If you're on a road trip and need a caffeine fix, don't choose the coffee here.

Was here on Christmas. Now I understand it was Christmas, and who wants to be working on Christmas? However, the clerk was very short and unresponsive with my wife and I. As soon as we moved on the customer behind us got a very friendly "Hello." And overall friendly service. Not sure why we were treated that way when other people were being treated friendly.
Clean and customer service is good. Parking lot and area around pumps is to small and really have to be careful so you dont hit anything or get hit.
