Wonderful place, especially if you are Plant Based or Vegan. They have just revamped the menu to have many vegan/vegetarian options. They have plant based ham, non-dairy cheese, GF bread along with homemade soups. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to eat lunch in a beautiful place.

The food was okay but all 3 of us who ate from here got food poisoning after. We don’t live together and this is the only place we’ve all eaten together.

Great place for a healthy snack when you’re out at Bernheim Forest. I had the veggie quesadilla and Hubby had chicken salad sandwich. The cafe boasts that everything served is from their garden area. We’re glad it has opened back up.

Cute little Cafe attached to the gift shop serving deli style foods and fresh baked goods along with ice cream! The food was good and tasted very fresh and used environmentally friendly materials. Beautiful environment to enjoy before or after exploring the rest of Bernheim.

Was out and about on the motorcycle and wanted lunch. I decided to ride around Bernhiem for a bit, grab a chicken sandwich and go find a secluded picnic table to eat at. The sandwich was delicious, maybe a little too much bread but still good.

A pleasant way to support Bernheim Forest, a beautiful asset to central Kentucky.

Sandwiches, wraps, and cold sides for lunch. A decent selection given the small space, with vegan options available. Reasonably priced, quick and polite service, and a beautiful, clean dining room. No reason to pack a lunch for this trip.
