My favourite place to get coffee and desserts in Bardstown!
Just the type of coffee joint I was looking for. Latte's were great.
We were so disappointed. 2 pour overs took 30 minutes and tasted like water. Meanwhile about a dozen people got their coffee who ordered after us. What a waste of time and rip off. And my father ordered a pour over and got a daily brew coffee. This place needs more staff and people who know what they’re doing not a couple of high schoolers running around.
Pleasant small town coffee shop. Perfect for a stop in while you walk around downtown
Quaint shop. Great coffee & other drink options and lite fare available.
Our lunch was very good. The ham and cheese sandwich was my favorite. The perfect blend of cheese, bread and meat. The bread is not simple white or wheat, but an interesting herby bread that adds to the experience. The tomato soup was an excellent pair I highly recommend.
The 49ers fan barista behind the counter was so friendly and pleasant it made my day. Just as importantly though, the espresso this place serves is incredible. I grew up in New York and lived in Seattle for years so I like to think I have a pretty high expectations when it comes to coffee, and this was some of the best I’ve tried in recent memory. If I’m ever in the area again there’s a 100% chance I’ll come back here! In fact, I’ll probably go out of my way to make a return trip.
It was good coffee and had good yogurt and danishes. We will go back.
Really good coffee.
Employees are always super helpful and sweet, pastries are amazing, coffee is fantastic. And I love the atmosphere.
The best little coffee stop in town!! Excellent coffee. Pastries are delicious. I love the breakfast bagels. And the homemade soups are amazing! The staff are always so friendly.. always with a family welcome. I love Fresh!
A lovely nook and great first stop if you're driving in early for a day exploring Bardstown. We read about this place in "Kentucky Bourbon Country" and we're intrigued and entertained by the name, since in print it looks like the place is literally called "fresh coffee." We like it. Feedback for Fresh: Sadly, I did not try one of the specialty coffees because I didn't see them listed inside, only outside as I was walking out. I don't know if this is my mistake or the specialty coffees really aren't listed indoors.
They're locked I was way too strong
This is a great coffee place downtown Bardstown. The metal chairs are not as comfortable if you are planning on staying for a while, but there are other seating areas. Coffee and pastries are delicious. I always go back.
Small town charm and friendly smiles with a eye opening wake me up americano! Amazing place very cool vibe.
Great!
Katie the chef is fantastic! Best grilled cheese sandwich EVER. The crackers were even made in house. Katie the person is just as awesome as the sandwich! Highly recommend
I’m here every other day, I’ve tried everything on the menu ! I love their Tex mex salad and the taco salad ! Most of the staff is so friendly.
I absolutely love Fresh, its always a treat to get to stop in, unfortunately we cant more often! Food is always fantastic, so is the coffee and smoothies. This morning we had mochas (mine iced) and a slice of strawberry cake and one of their bourbon pecan rolls. The cake is absolutely to die for and my mom loved the pecan roll. Fresh is a must stop for anyone coming through Bardstown, whether its for breakfast, brunch, or lunch!
Loved the atmosphere here. The coffee was flavorful & strong. They have hot tea options. "Christmas is a cup" was really good as was the ham & cheese bagel and raspberry scone.
