The bread they use is local sourdough and it's amazing as simple toast. Peppermint tea is also strong in flavor and I personally love it.
When getting coffee make sure you get spoon to finish stirring. Found sugar settled at bottom of cup. Sure it would of helped.
It's a pretty place with many plants. There were a lot of hipster types on laptops, lending a fun air. It was very crowded and difficult to find seating, not family friendly, I don't think. The food is reasonably priced, but the drinks were the highlight, tastewise. I got a toast with goat cheese, roasted radishes, and micro greens. The radishes were cold, which was an unpleasant contrast, and the overall flavor was "salty". The egg and cheese sandwich was similar, just salty. We got a cappuccino, macchiato, and babycino for our toddler: tasty all around with the drinks. The service was prompt and polite.
Friendly staff Yummy mocha. But $7 for 160z??? Limited seating, especially when over half of the folks in the place are homeless. Sleeping bags out front, trash, derelict shopping carts etc… definitely don’t make it an inviting shop.
The Coffee was very good… they have a good thing going if can control a couple things. the only thing I was concerned about is the rif raf that was hanging around out on the side walk. I understand homeless, but these people mixed in and obviously new what they were doing. The cashier was friendly but not warm.
By far the best coffee shop in Wichita. The care and attention to detail, quality and service are above and beyond anywhere else. I wish there were more places like Leslie Coffee Company. A true driver of community. I love they treat all humans like humans, vs. other places that just like to pretend their city doesn’t have a house less community. All real cities have this, all. Way to go, Leslie! Keep up the good work, we see how valuable you are to community.
Hands down this is where you want to stop for great coffee! Best in the area! Great and friendly staff, yummy baked goods, toasts, eggs, winter and summer drink specials. Beautiful space! Owner is dedicated to paying a fair/living wage. Lots of gorgeous plants around the shop. I just love it.
Hands down best coffee shop in Kansas. Very interesting socially progressive concept that makes it unique. Very strong fundamentals. Unique space, great service and impeccable coffee.
Love the avocado toast ( all of them )! The atmosphere is relaxing & welcoming with that coffee house buzz.
In my many travels I always try to find a unique coffee shop. Leslie’s coffee was recommended to me by a staff at Hampton Inn. I always order an Americano and it was not a disappointment. It was very good. Loved their toast with sea salt and butter. I would definitely highly recommend Leslies coffee to anyone that is looking for a good place to have a good cup of coffee.
BEAUTIFUL interior, also I was super excited that they had vegan treats. Coffee was good too of course. Staff was very kind and helpful. Can't wait to go back.
Leslie Coffee Shop is fantastic! The staff is wonderful, the atmosphere is impeccable, and the bittersweet black coffee is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!
Enjoyed great Lattes and conversation! Pleasant diverse environment.
I'm new to Wichita and have never been to this shop before. The lady behind the counter was very rude to the questions I had. When I was ordering my tea, I don't know if it was because I was taking a while to look over the menu (no one behind me) but the lady with glasses gave me attitude when I was ordering. I just ignored it and started to study. I asked for the wifi a bit later and the same lady again rudely told me it's on the napkin holders. I laughed it off and said Whoops, sorry! Thank you! She just gave me a rude look and I ignored it again. Soon after, I got up to use the restroom and the door was locked. I saw another sign saying that there are more bathrooms in the hallway and to ask a barista for assistance, so I did what it said. I've never been there before so I assumed it was down the hallway that I COULD SEE. Didn't realize there was a hallway behind the doors. I asked the same lady if I could access the bathroom in the hallway. She told me a code and I double-checked and asked if it was for the restroom "down the hallway". She VERY rudely said it's for the door that the sign is posted on. Since she said it so rudely (again), I explained that I assumed it was down the hallway I COULD SEE (again, never been there. I didn't know there was a hallway behind the door). This was the only time my tone of voice changed and I was more assertive. I was kind and patient when asking for help the whole time before this. She interrupted and, again, was very rude, raised her voice and said that the hallway was behind the doors. I just said geez okay, thanks. I honestly have NO idea what I did for the lady to have a rude tone of voice and attitude for just asking questions when I've never been here. I smiled, chuckled, and was kind when asking questions. Sucks, I really wanted to like that place but I'll stick with Reverie or Coffee Daze.
I'm looking for a little small coffee shop to read. Didn't quite like this one. Barista was not helpful or recommended anything. Which okay.. but to do it for the people behind me? That was weird. Also coffee in general was anything too good. I got a cinnamon ice latte and was not impressed.
Great place to get a beverage or snack, everything is made with high quality ingredients. I'd recommend using their online ordering to skip the line, I think that's a great feature!
Great coffee. Shop a little small and usually full and busy.
I have been going here since it opened. It’s always great. The food and drink are wonderful and the atmosphere is great. Their staff is always so kind.
Great coffee and great ambiance in this cozy shop! I highly enjoy the bean toast and vanilla bean lattes. I truly appreciate that this business cares about their staff and the community. they have integrity! Y’all are awesome.
LOVE the aesthetic, plants everywhere! Great coffee menu and delicious breakfast selection. Fun spot to read or sketch, fun and interesting merchandise too.
