I made a point to stop by while in town to support a great group of people! My iced latte was top notch and I also really enjoyed my panni pressed breakfast sandwich! beyond 5 star food/drinks and beautiful smiles from each employee!!
I went on a Thursday at 10am and it was packed with people and kids. The kids were playing board games that the shop had along with books people could use in the cafe. The cafe had a lot packed into the somewhat small space. I found it hard to look at everything without getting a little overwhelmed. On each table is a sign with a QR code to order online, so I tried that but it said my order would take 30-40 min at the shortest, so I just went up and ordered at the counter. The people were friendly and helpful. I ordered a "home on the range" latte, which I only found on the online menu but I might have missed it on a sign. I also got a toasted breakfast sandwich with grilled ham on gluten-free waffles as bread with a side of syrup. I got my food hot and ready within 10 min and it was delicious! There were 2 big slices of thick ham that was wonderfully cooked, the egg was good with the melted cheese, and the waffles were just great! I would not have guessed the waffles were gluten free, but I was glad I got it toasted since it might have gotten a little soggy as a sandwich. It was a little more than $10 for both the 12oz latte and the breakfast sandwich, which was a good deal in my opinion. The owner, Perry, talked with us at our table and was kind and friendly. By 11am the cafe had mostly cleared out so if you want to avoid the crowds, around 11am-12pm is apparently a good time to go. I also found out that this cafe hires those with special needs and special circumstances and provides training for them. I love that and I very much enjoyed my visit. I will be going back!
Fantastic coffee drinks, the drink menu offers a wide variety and great descriptions. Highly recommend!
Great place! This is an amazing hidden gem! Go support this wonderful little coffee shop with a great mission to give back!
Atmosphere is nice and cozy and staff are amazing! Everyone was super friendly and relaxed. The coffee itself was high quality with a fantastic depth of flavors that build upon each other. Absolutely recommend
Great place to get a coffee. Everyone is so nice. Nice to find a place with gluten free items.Stop by and support this local business.
First visit today to this awesome cafe! It’s a delish place to stop for breakfast, lunch or even just a coffee stop. We had Perry’s Favorite Sandwich and the jalapeño jelly was to die for! We had great service and the owner was awesome. Love that they employ people with disabilities, and they were working hard to get our order out in timely fashion. The place was clean and organized. Every time I am in Wichita I will be sure to visit!
Food and drinks, all so tasty!
I went in this morning and got a latte and a breakfast sandwich. Both were fantastic! As a parent of two adults with special needs having an establishment like this means a lot. The staff working were wonderful. I will be spreading the word and I thank the owners for their commitment.
Coffee was delicious (I got an iced Dorothy’s Delight) and the combos and flavors were literally endless! Loved the little touches like having board games and community resource info out for patrons. I wish I was a local, I would be there daily! ❤️
Love this place - Wonderful food, wonderful staff, and all for a wonderful cause!
The waffle sandwich was delicious, the staff were all really friendly, and the coffee was great!

Love everything about this place from the owner, to the staff, to the atmosphere, food, drinks & mission! 10/10 recommend!
My bride and I stopped in for coffee this week. What a great place! Coffee was great and I look forward to trying the waffle creations next time we are in.
Great service! We were waiting on our food and the owner came out personally and apologized, apparently they had been having some electrical issues and it flipped a breaker. He offered us another round of drinks as an apology. Very nice staff and will be going back!
The Carpe Diem Coffee Shop is a new, unique place that I highly recommend to anyone who loves an amazing cup of coffee. Shop owner, Perry Warden is a delight to visit with and he has an amazing story to tell anyone who is willing to listen.
