I absolutely adore this coffee shop!! They are always so friendly, and despite being busy-- they're pretty fast too! Craving a pumpkin latte in May? Hi Hat has your back. Their pastries are awesome too, but they go fast. ❤️ I always try to bring friends and family that are visiting KC here. Their super cute outside seating areas make for a perfect outdoor experience. Thanks, Hi-Hat, for being awesome.

Hi Hat coffee is the cutest coffee shop in the KC area. However, if you want to enjoy your coffee onsite, pick a nice day because there is no indoor seating. Located in an old gas station, the coffee shop is absolutely charming. The idyllic patio is the perfect place to enjoy a warm coffee in the fall or an iced coffee in the heat of summer. They have a wide variety of coffee flavors and several pastries to choose from. The coffee is delightful and I would highly recommend the homemade pop tart.

This is my favorite coffee shop. All of their baristas are incredibly friendly and very well trained. The coffee is always wonderful. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. I always recommend Hi Hat to anyone looking for a good cup of coffee. If I could give more than 5 starts, I would.

Pros: I’ve been really into the cinnamon honey lattes with oatmilk and that’s been my go to just about everywhere I go, and I have to say, this is quite possibly the best one I’ve had! The creaminess, prefect balance of coffee to flavor, presentation, all so amazing! The service was also amazing! People were so friendly, asked questions and seemed to genuinely want to get to know you a little! Thankfully it was a slow time so we got the chance to talk a little! I got the Bee High hot and my husband got the butter toffee one iced and that one was good too! Cons: no where to sit inside, but still some seating outdoors! We spent $11.05 after tax for two small drinks (12 oz hot, 16 oz iced) Go check out this little hole in the wall! SO SO GOOD!

Adorable coffee shop in the Kansas City Area. The inside is on the smaller side but don’t let that keep you away! My first time visiting and Claire and Rebecca made my experience wonderful. I’m not familiar with coffee but wanted to try out this place for awhile and finally came in. I asked them their recommendations and they both mentioned the The Bee High Latte. I’ve been staying away from caffeine and let me know that that the regular coffee can be replaced with decaf and no dairy substitutes if needed. I received my latte within minutes. They also have fresh pastries I snagged the last cranberry pastry (I can’t remember the name but was delicious) before a rush came in. It’s was colder today but they do have an outdoor seating area for the nicer weather. Thank you so much for the recommendations and will be back in again.

This is a personal favorite and is such a gem. It is tiny, no indoor seating, but friendly service and a nice patio. It’s definitely worth a stop over.

This is THE cutest little coffee shop in the area, hands down. Perfect for coffee dates. Try the Aztec Spicy Mocha for a nice morning kick. Fun fact: the name Hi Hat comes from the hi hat cymbals that drummers play with their left foot. From what i heard the owner is a real jazz head, thus inspiring the name. Seriously, i just had a coffee date this morning and it was the perfect place for it. Great staff, great coffee, cozy atmosphere. Give them your money.

This is a cute little hut of a coffee shop that was a treat to visit because of its gnome home like appearance and the lounge area is a beautiful outdoor patio that leaves you with no option but to love the fresh air! Coffee was great too!
