I went here just to check it out and it was nice. People were doing work and or socializing. I just got a pastry and chatted with the cashier lady.
Not very clear what the menu items were without asking or looking online. Overall good! Fun merch! I got the Mocha Moon Latte
Highly recommend going here if you like experiencing 1994 DSL internet speeds with your $6 coffee.
If you like very sweet lattes, try one with moon milk. I get mine with 1/4 moon milk because a full can be a bit overwhelming.
First time in. Ordered the Summer Moon 🌚 My taste buds didn't know they could enjoy the flavors of this coffee drink, and now they might be addicted. Very good coffee drink. Definitely a stop on my trips to OP.

I love coming here to study. Definitely need noise cancelling headphones if really trying to concentrate. Only con is that it’s always so cold! One time I had to leave early before finishing my studies because it was so cold; and it was sunny and over 72 degrees out!
I'm a regular at Summer Moon whenever I'm in KC (so a lot). The team are very friendly and the coffee is very nice. I also recommend the merch. I have a hoodie and it is extremely good quality and has washed well. Well worth a visit if you're on Metcalf Avenue 😀
It isn’t bad, but it isn’t the most amazing coffee I’ve ever had. Long lines on the weekends and sometimes hard to find a seat, but it’s a nice place to hang out, occasionally.
Definitely a popular spot. The venue was pretty occupied for a Thursday afternoon, but I managed a find a seat and was able to work on my laptop for a few hours. I love how clean and open the space looked and that there were power outlets and WiFi available.
This was my first time here. When I walked in, the atmosphere was so welcoming. The barrista welcomed my friend and I with a genuine smile. Other customers seemed very chill and comfortable. Seating was perfect. Different areas and types of seating, cool decor. I need to go back and get a really fun coffee mug. I ordered the hot Chai....... it was perfectly done! We WILL be back. Thank you so much for a great first experience!

I'm overdue in writing a review for this place. All of my work is remote online and over the last year and 1/2 I've spent many long days doing it here. The quality of the coffees/teas/baked goods and the comfort of the seating/environment are among the best you will find. Without exception, the staff are personable and friendly and seem to have a great attitude. If I had a slight note for improvement it might be that at times, they could make the music more eclectic. I'm pretty sure that when I'm 90, if I hear a Taylor Swift song, I will have a flashback to the year I spent working on my laptop at Summer Moon. That said, people seem to love it here. It's usually crowded and with good reason.
visited this cute coffee shop yesterday with my sister! it was my first time and i really enjoyed it! that moon milk is something else! so amazing. i wish there was a closer location to my house!!!!!!!!!

Best coffee around! The moon milk is a treasure! And their merch is high quality ranging from shirts and hats, to tumblers and glasswear.
Great coffee. Amazing frosted sugar cookies. Too loud. Seems to be a common thing for coffee shops. Music is too loud.
Perfect place for the sweet latte lovers! The concept of how you want your drink made is really cool. Made exactly how you would want it and their homemade sweet cream is really yummy. Their breakfast taco is way overpriced for such a small taco.
Today, I got the iced blue moon latte (nearly $6). I don’t come here often, but when I do, I always love the atmosphere. The service is pretty fast and it’s not that busy in the evenings. It’s a great place to study or relax and just sip some coffee. The employees were very nice and helpful on helping us decide on what to order, and after we ordered our coffees, we considered getting more drinks because of how good they tasted. Definitely my favorite coffee shop in Overland Park.
