Jams is a great addition to our community. The coffee is amazing, adult drinks and food on Wed and Thursday nights and great atmosphere. The owners are awesome!
They've got excellent cinnamon rolls and ice cream. Very nice addition to our little community. Adding July 2022: apparently they've had amazing coffee this whole time too.
We absolutely love the atmosphere of Jams as well as the awesome staff. Jams is a great place to go for a morning cup of coffee (their cinnamon rolls are the best around) or just for a quiet afternoon in the outdoor seating area. Jams has been a great addition to Urbana.
What a great addition for northern Benton Co. Great coffee options, fresh pastries, ice cream, glass of wine or a beer & local IA products. The atmosphere is second to none. Always a smiling face to greet & serve you. Live music on the patio on summer evenings is a great option as well.
We were on the beginning of our road trip and I always love to find a new coffee shop to start our day of driving. I found this one and noticed it was also on the nearby bike trail which would allow us to stretch our legs before climbing back into our van. How great that a small community can support a nice business like this! And a bonus to someone like me who loves to search out unique cafes during our travels. The place is so inviting and welcoming. We sat in two different spots while there just to enjoy the experience. The young ladies working were very kind and helpful. I was going to be a bit disappointed at first when I saw the many bottles of pre-made drink flavors, but then I noticed they had their own cold foam toppings. I had pistachio which was not only delicious, but thick and creamy, and melted into my cold press delightfully. Seriously, the commercial coffee shops fail in comparison to this stuff! We also had some other coffee and a pastry. Good as well. They have wine and beer, too, and we couldn't help but buy a can each of a locally brewed beer to take along for later. We hit the trail for a bit and left Urbana happy campers! If you live here, go here :). If you are driving through, take the few minutes to get off the highway, and stop in. I'm very sure we will be back as we drive this stretch down to the Gulf Coast more than once a year. See you again in September -- if not before!
Came for the first time for the coffee on my sister in laws recommendation. Will come again for the CROISSANTS!!! 🥐. OMG those croissants, now I’m not an expert but I’ve had my share of high quality pastry croissants. And this was sooooo much like the greats I’ve had before. Quite literally at first bite I was hollering from excitement in my car. I had crumbs aallll over myself. I don’t care, I loved it! Cappuccino was fine. They offer a small, medium and large, traditionally cappuccinos are just about a 7 ounce may be a 5 ounce drink, no bigger. Cookie was fine. If they ask you if you want it microwaved, get it microwaved. The space itself is so pleasant to be in and look around a touch overwhelming since they sell all sorts of things but I think one adapts. GET THE CROISSANT! Update: cinnamon rolls greets high marks too. From the looks of it it looked like it needed more icing but it has plenty and the cinnamon-sugar innards are gooey delicious 👍👍
This is my all time favorite coffee spot! Where ever you live you should make a trip out here for a coffee and a bite to eat, You won’t regret it!
Great place for a cup of coffee! Best I’ve had. Stop inside and enjoy treats you won’t find anywhere else. Or, if you’re in a hurry, the drive thru works too.

Delicious with a wide variety of beverages and snacks. So tasty I forgot to take photos! I stop in every time I visit the attached yarn shop.

The Croissant was amazing! Light and flakey. The Latte was seriously the best I have ever had! This place is worth the stop! The wine selection was great, too! 5 Stars

Surprised at the size and how well the staff works together. Great seasonal brew options. Coffee tastes like coffee, with no burnt or bitter taste. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy. The sheer size makes it feel homely. Great place to go if working on a laptop or just sit and relax.
Don't pass by jams. Stop in and see what they have to offer besides a great cup of coffee and a snack. Wonderful atmosphere to enjoy it in and also a yarn shop chocked full of every yarn you could ever dream of plus some home goodies to shop for.
