My wife Pam was hungry for what is absolutely the very best looking and tasting roast beef sandwich in the world, which can only be found at the Cozy Cup Cafe in Sully, Iowa. Being on a gout friendly diet, sadly I can no longer eat red meat, so I had no choice but to look away from her as she ate that amazing dish. lol The sandwich I had was the peppered chicken, the owner's own personal favorite, now it's my own personal favorite. I'm not sure I can adequately describe my sandwich without becoming emotional. As you can clearly see this was a pretty hefty cut of chicken, extremely tender, and seasoned with black pepper, containing fresh lettuce and a very tasty ripe tomato. The buns are supplied daily from a bakery in Pella and add the finishing touch to this masterpiece. The fries are tender and very habit forming, (exceptionally) good. This wonderful little restaurant in Sully, Ia gets my coveted empty plate award for sure. I give it my strongest recommendation and a great addition to your bucket list.

Stopped in for breakfast, quiet hometown feel. Service was quick and very polite. The breakfast was a very good homestyle cooked breakfast. Biscuits n gravey, and omelet was superb. I recommend stopping in for a great breakfast.
Nice small town place to grab a bite. Great food and portions, pancakes are huge! Prices are good, and the service is prompt and friendly. This trip was breakfast, but we have been for lunch/dinner, and the same is true!
Delicious hot beef sandwich and pie.
An old favorite, hadn't been in a while. Seating had been expanded. Service was great as usual. Good specials, home cooking, and of course pie keep us coming back.
Your basic small town diner. Good food, good atmosphere. That would get three stars, but I judge on a place's b&g. Excellent. Add a star. :)

The Hot Roast Beef sandwich was recommended by a friend. It was even better than I thought. Amazing food, great pie and service with a good conversation. Small town Iowa Nice at its best.
Good place to eat lunch. We were disappointed that the daily special ran out and it did take a bit to get our food. Busy place so still deserves 5 stars.
I thought this was a pretty good place to eat. A simple menu with simple foods but prepared well. My wife got a hot beef which she liked & I got a chicken bacon melt which was very good. Their hours of business are kind of varied with them mostly being open early morning through lunch time but the food & service were both good.
Food is delicious and the pie is so good! If you go for breakfast they have the biggest and best pancakes.

Decent small cafe, good breakfasts with OK portions. But only 1 waitress, so timely service is not in their priorities and as usual coffee is rationed as well because of the lack of staff. Post covid hours of operation???? you never know if they're open until driving there. They charge customers 4 % to use bank cards, that's not right in modern times. My visits are very limited - even if it's local & close for me.
