Wait staff was good my kids Dino chicken nuggets had been over cooked they wouldn't eat them. My steak burrito or chop steak not sure the meat had been over cooked on one side it was chew and unappetizing. Cheese balls and fries where good
Crunchiest crispiest onion rings french fries very tasty cheese curds delicious sloppy bacon barbecue cheeseburger and my wife very much enjoyed the Avocado Burger plus $2 off burgers on that day
We were driving through & always enjoy trying new places...Brightside Cafe did NOT disappoint! So glad we stopped there for lunch! My husband & I each had different burgers of our choosing...I had cheese curds as my side & he had fries. We also shared an order of onion rings. The food was all delicious. Portions were generous. The onion rings were probably the best we've ever had...crispy, crunchy & delicious! The staff were friendly & cheerful. The Cafe was bright & cheery and clean. Loved all the inspirational sayings on the walls. Wish we lived closer! We'll be back again when we pass through!

My mom and I stopped here on our way to dakota dunes. It was a really nice place. They were super friendly and the service was great!
The eggs were over cooked and when I got them they were cold so was the toast, the hashbrowns were edible over all not worth the over 14 dollars I paid
3 of 5 for food, 5 for atmosphere and 4 for service. It was a good experience, glad I at least went there one time! Avocado toast is Delish!
In any big city, this place would be packed, but here in Sioux City, there were very few customers. The food was great, the atmosphere is exemplary, the service was stupendous, their prices were reasonable. If this place were in Minneapolis, it would be a legendary hub.

I went here with my two daughters and my grandson for my birthday brunch. We had a wonderful morning. The food was wonderful and we enjoyed ourselves. My daughter is a regular with her boyfriend. That is why they brought me here here for my birthday brunch because they got I would enjoy it as much as she does.
I had the pleasure of eating at this cafe this evening. The food is fabulous and they're not skimpy on the portions.
Our server, Liz, was very friendly and accommodating to us first timers! She took the time to explain what was available and worked with my special dietary needs. The food was delicious, plentiful and fast. Definitely will go back and recommend to family and friends!
Breakfast food was decent, and arrived surprisingly fast. But when we received our check it was $40, 1 plate x 2 = $20, 1 milk and 2 coffee were $15, are you kidding me? No wonder place was empty at 830 am. Will not be back here.

Great food and coffee. Staff has always been very friendly and attentive. The interior is clean and appealing to the eye but some of the music choices are not what I consider relaxing for a Cafe, more suitable for a late night dance club.
I have come quite a bit for breakfast, but today was terrible. The staff were on their phones, our food took forever to come out, and when it did, they didn’t give us any syrup or butter. We had to ask the staff 2x for syrup and butter because they were on their phones and could care less about the customers. There was also another table having the same issues. I understand if people are short staffed, but this was not the case. These two gentlemen clearly didn’t want to be working today. We will not be eating at this establishment again.
The food was the worst we had eaten there. Normally this place is good, of 4 breakfast items only 1 was good(Philly buritto). No butter or syrup was served without asking and the toast was warm bread. A side of bacon was only 2 strips.
