Second time here. On board stated soups were Potato soup, Red Pepper Gouda. Ordered potato soup and 🥪. As soon as soup was given they came out and wiped it off board and added Chicken Sante fe. The 🥔 soup was bottom of the pan burnt. OPotatoes were black in color. I went and told them and asked for a different soup. The young man stated I would have to buy another soup even if the other is bad. I refused and did not eat the soup. Bad business!!! I will not be returning!!!

Disgusting. In my 20 years of kitchen experience I’ve never seen someone licking their fingers while serving food and coffee.

Great place: very friendly, and they know how to make exceptional brews. Relaxed atmosphere and has the added benefit of being attached to a really fine deli!

Have you ever had all your caffeine-related needs met? Well... I can sure tell you that Saints Rest does just that for all those who are intelligent enough to open the door and walk in. A local coffee shop like this is so much better in all aspects than those stupid Starbucks you see all over the place... Wait... I'm sorry... full disclosure I love Starbucks... but not as much as Saints Rest (But seriously... support local coffee). Sam Cox, who is the head honcho at Saints Rest, demands excellence... and that is what you will get. Grab your damn wallet and go buy some coffee from Saints Rest right now!

Fun coffee house, nice vibe. The employees were friendly and gave suggestions, were talkative and joking. We've been to this place twice when we've visited campus, and both times were great. Coffee is good, and oatmilk chai is good. They also have a vegan baker who brings in vegan goodies. The bagels were excellent too.

I have always been pleased with my drinks, and the gluten free cookies are always appreciated. The atmosphere is always perfect for either working or chatting with friends.

I didn't actually get anything for myself here, but i did get a gift certificate, and the girl to whom i gave that certificate was really, really excited about it - like, really excited - so I'm guessing it's an okay joint.

Got me an iced matcha latte with soy milk and a vegan pre-packaged peanut butter cookie. The matcha was delicious and they did well in fulfilling my request for less ice!! Friendly staff and calming ambience.

What a fantastic place! Beautiful, perfect coffee house to hang out at and my Americano was wonderful!!! Glad that when I asked for "the best coffee house in town" when passing through that there was no hesitation. They said "definitely Saint's Rest!"

Coffee was pretty good. The barista was super friendly, and recommended a second shot for a stronger coffee. The place was filled with Grinnell students and a nice hangout for them to socialize. Jay's Deli was at the back serving fresh subs and some grilled options as well
