Kava has a great vibe, great drinks, and great company. Kid friendly and very relaxing. Super friendly staff and the atmosphere is very chill. Definitely stop by if you are in the area.

I don’t what kind of Voodoo makes this stuff work but it does. The Kava alone is great for chilling out. Adding the kratom to the mock tails is my favorite. Weather you want a more stimulating effect or a relaxed one they have what you need. After I quit drinking over a decade ago I always thought I’d never find a social atmosphere that didn’t involve alcohol but Kava Kava nails it. Please don’t close!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place, great atmosphere and the staff truly treats you like family! I go here almost every weekend with my friends because it's so much more than your typical bar vibe, you can actually talk, and play board games and it's just overall a great way to connect with people in a non-toxic environment! (also it has great lighting for pics)

Love that we have a Kava Bar in Dubuque now! The owner and bartenders are awesome. I want to see their back room decked out a bit more and a few more cozy coves and stuff. First drink is free! At least at the time of writing. Great non-booze option on a far corner of town. Will be back.
They do not sell alcohol here. Staff and customers are very friendly. You will have a hard time sitting down and not striking up casual conversation with someone. Very calming and inviting atmosphere. Free wifi makes this my favorite place to come for multiple hours to work on coursework or play games.

Wonderful atmosphere. A great place to stop and relax after a long day. The staff is always in great moods and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. And they are excited about what they do and the place they are doing it. Shows a lot about the company and the lifestyle that is led. Quickly becoming my favorite spot In town.

Love the concept! Prices are fair but female staffing are strictly eye candy and a little less concerned about serving rather than playing games.
Kava Kava is a very friendly & relaxing environment. There are plenty of comfy spots to relax and work and even a small sun room in the back set up nicely with a soft wicker couch. If you’re in the mood for games and activities, you’re in luck. They have an electronic dart machine, foosball and you can typically find a few regulars playing “Kava Pong”. They have endless board games, A WII and Xbox as well. Want to veg? Lay down on the couch and watch some TV, where you can choose from over 100 channels. As far as the Kava drinks; they are delish. I don’t have much knowledge about the drinks but to watch them help transform peoples lives positively is nothing short of remarkable. Brett the owner is always present daily, in the bar greeting every customer that walks in. The best Kava tender is Cora. She’s very knowledgeable of the products, and she’s not too bad to look at 😉. A truly unique place, if you’re in Dubuque you must go visit, and it’s certainly with a day trip to come check out if you’re not in the area. BULA!
