You can't go wrong with Sweet Oaks! I am dairy intolerant and they bend over backwards to accommodate me. Their food is always amazing and the one time my food was wrong when we did pick up they replaced it. The coffee is completely customizable and ALWAYS delicious. You have to try their desserts and cinnamon rolls if you have a sweet tooth.
Great little place to stop for lunch. We didn't have dessert but it was tempting.....
Went for their inaugural dinner trial tonight. It did not disappoint. Glad we got there early. They were super busy, with both dine in, and to go orders. We dined in. I love their burgers with locally sourced beef. Everything was on point, and despite being busy, service was excellent. Happy to support a small town business run by a hard working family.
Ridiculously slow and disorganized service. Sat down at the table after ordering at the counter, and had 3 different employees come over and ask us for our orders. Waited for my chocolate malt for awhile. Finally asked an employee, he said "he wasn't sure what was taking so long, he doesn't work behind that part of the counter". After watching 3 people go to the counter and order and receive their drinks/Frappuccinos I asked why they get priority over me and was told that my malt was being prepared now. But I still asked why I had to wait for 3 people to be helped before me who obviously came in after I did and could not be given an answer. Then was asked to leave because I commented that the service was ridiculous and that other customers shouldn't get priority over others. Not to mention a cup of soup for $5 is only about half a portion size of any other restaurant. Family member stayed behind to get the refund and was informed that the reason for the delay on the malt was that they did not have the ingredients on hand up front therefore just went on helping other customers....not a legit reason, tell them to wait.
Wonderful experience, great food. I went to Sweet oaks bakery on a lovely weekend and experienced there grilled cheese and pasta salad. I personally do not like pasta salad but I was impressed by the bakery, their pasta salad was amazing! I've never had better pasta salad and I enjoyed the grilled cheese. The energy and vibe the bakery set off was very comforting towards all ages and I thought that the service was wonderful. If you're looking for a quick bite or a lunch with friends I suggest this bakery to all near Collins.
They do fantastic with the Veterans Day event every year. The food is amazing and all of the courses are great.
Wow!! A group of us stopped here for lunch and ended up eating almost one of everything!! Amazing service and incredible food!! If your passing thru you MUST make this a stop and enjoy everything this place has to offer!!

Stopped in for lunch on a group bike tour of Iowa. What a find! Delicious sandwiches, great selection of beverages and the cinnamon rolls were incredible! So glad we found this place!
Food is absolutely delicious. The ladies here are overly accommodating and extremely nice. Perfect small town restaurant. Coffee is 5 star w/tons of flavor options
Breakfast/brunch was AMAZING!!! There was 10 of us and we had the best service and we all enjoyed our meal!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!!
Amazing local bistro! Great coffee too! For lunch, we had the Mango Chicken sandwich and it was a masterpiece! Also, their house burger was so fresh and delicious with bacon and avocado! Jenn the head chef is incredible. Will be back again next time I am in town. Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

We have eaten breakfast and lunch here many times. Portions are generous, food is excellent, servers are friendly. A great place to eat.
This is a very cute restaurant in Collins IA. The food is and service is great. I had the Harvest sandwich and pasta salad and it was wonderful. I didn't try any of the bakery items but wish I had, they looked yummy.
Had the loaded breakfast burrito and it was awesome. I'll spend the rest of the morning in a food coma.
