This place was a source of pure joy and community when I was at Taylor! Delicious food, lovely baristas, and yummy coffee. Oh, and not to mention the most darling AESTHETIC 🌿
We got the vanilla bean latte and chai latte to drink. They were both excellent. We also got a chicken salad sandwich and potato soup which were very tasty.
This was such a nice little Cafe to find on our trip. They have so many gluten free options and the coffee was amazing!
Smoothies are fabulous!
A pleasant place to relax and connect with the community. Full of sun and feels like home. A charming place to display work of local artists and enjoy a warm muffin or three :)
Its a nice place visit, enjoy lots of tasty items and the coffee is great.
Great little Cafe. Food is fresh and the coffee is strong but good
**read if you have allergies** I would call this a swing and a miss. Great atmosphere & decor. Props for thinking to put a kids toy. That's about where the good ended for us... ordered my 1yr old scrambled eggs. What I got was a giant blob on a plate. It looked so gross that I didn't recognize it as eggs. Upon questioning, I was told the eggs are mixed with cream and microwaved. I told them that baby is allergic to dairy and I need just eggs with nothing added. When those came, they were sweet, salty and had pepper. Upon questioning again I was told they substituted with coconut milk (as they do with all dairy allergies). I tried to educate the gal on allergies and how if someone asks for "just egg" then you need to follow it. She just stated "well, we substituted". Um, no. Not okay. She didn't ask if my daughter had any other allergies, just did what they wanted. It was not their call to make and it could have ended badly. I could list a few other issues we had, but I'll just leave it with this main one because people with allergies need to know this is not a safe place for them.
Literally the worst muffin I’ve ever tried. I can’t say eaten because I ate one bite and trashed it.
Peaceful and friendly environment. Even better food!
The quality's really gone down; I went recently and though they had not marked it, almost everything on their menu was unavailable. Their chai was disgusting - I love spicy chai and couldn't finish the latte I ordered. It was off, somehow, whether it was the mix or almond milk in it.
The Bridge is a unique experience for anyone going through Upland, Indiana. Unassuming on the outside, cozy inside. This is a perfect place for a cup of coffee when you can stay and hang out with a friend, but also works great for brunch, lunch, or take out. The menu, while in some ways straightforward, also has a flair to it. They advertise organic ingredients from their farm and things have a handcrafted feel. On this visit my wife and I had our favorite sandwiches: A Green Goddess on wheat, and Chicken Salad on a croissant. These sandwiches come with Broad Ripple chips (from Broad Ripple, Indiana, go figure). There's other things we like on the menu but for lunch, these sandwiches are our go-to items. They also have some very tasty drinks with their coffee shop (my favorite is iced chai) and often seasonal or special drinks that are fun to try out. Note: I also vote for larger drink sizes, as they basically have one size for everything. Even better than their drinks, in my opinion, are their bakery items: muffins, croissants, and pain au chocolat. These are consistently great and worth a drive over there on a Saturday morning. This really is a fun place to visit, the food is good, and they make the most with their physical space to create an atmosphere that is welcoming. Also check out the handmade craft and gift items for sale from local artists (especially the Wallace Wire signs). One thing to consider: if they are busy, it might take a little longer to get your order. This is handcrafted food made in a small kitchen, not fast food... Also, this premium food comes with a higher cost and so we see this more as a treat than a regular lunch place, considering our more frugal-than-many food budget. Still, everyone needs to try out The Bridge for themselves, so if you haven't been here yet or it's been awhile, check out their current menu. There's a lot going on here that's worth the visit!
Great food and drinks, healthy, good prices! We'll be back!
My last two times here I have got some sweet hot goodness!! I got a campfire mocha the previous time and this time got the European hot chocolate..and OH MAN, that was amazing. Only regret was there wasn't more to drink. The cream and yummies on top make it possible to easily drink right when your name is called.
High quality, delicious food in a quaint and comfy atmosphere.
It was nice staff but coffee is a little of taste.
Such a fun place! Absolutely delicious- tons of GF/vegan options. The golden milk is delicious, perfect amount of spice. The green goddess sandwich and the coconut soup were perfect and easy to make GF/V. Definitely check this place out! Perfect for a lunch date or quiet place to study.
We started our time at the bridge with our 12 week old Aussie puppy on their outdoor covered seating area. The weather started to turn out of nowhere and as soon as we heard the tornado sirens go off and the wind pick up heavily we decided to move inside for the safety of ourselves and our puppy. We were kicked out of the restaurant while it was hailing and heavily raining while the tornado siren was going. I was with my fiancé and twelve week old puppy. There was zero consideration for the safety and well-being of us. Disappointed in the Bridge having gone there several times before. They have fully lost my business after kicking us out into the rain and hail with no regard for our safety.
Excellent gluten free, vegan choices. Great coffee. Relaxed atmosphere perfect for a long chat or some study time. Food can be a bit slow but worth the wait!
The atmosphere and customer experience were great. I had the lavender drink which was a little sweet, but good. Our drinks took a while to make as well. Overall though, good coffee and a good environment, I would come back again
