We went to get early morning Ice Cream after my SO had a rough night shift and had the pup in the car. We got the Monster Cookie ice cream, the strawberry cheesecake, and they even let us do a pup cup of vanilla. The staff was awesome! It was clean and well socked. Very accommodating and made our morning. My pup Stark LOVED his cup. Thank you for the delicious treats!

Honestly paying 7 to 8 dollars on a supposed bowl of soup just to find out it is a cup is severely disappointing. The soup itself is lack luster and has the same quality of Campbell soup

Went there today at 3:20pm and the doors were locked. I saw some people in there so I called to ask (maybe something happened and they had to temporarily lock the doors) but when I asked what time they close, she said, "Now!" Okayyyy. I do like the ice cream when I went there previously, the chocolate is pricey but good, the cappuccinos/hot chocolates are delicious and cheap, we also enjoy the play area and gift shop. I guess the only issue would be the people working are usually rude and make you feel like an inconvenience.

I DIDNT TRY THE CHOCOLATE SO IGNORE IF U WANT THE CHOCOLATE!!! A bizzare atmosphere. There are numerous strange M&M themed statues with missing appendages. Large collection of vintage sodas. I ate a grilled cheese and it was sooooo tasty!!! However-they did forget to remove the peice of plastic from the cheese so I bit into a peice of plastic. I didn't complain or anything cause the food was good. Also the play place has an african theme and it's a bit outdated to say the least.

Next time you visit downtown South Bend make sure you visit the first original location. Loaded with a ton of chocolates, different drinks, plus plenty of good breakfast and lunch deals. Take your time, walk around and discover some of the history & secrets to the local region. Plus a crew of friendly & helpful staff. You won't be disappointed.

All the chocolate was rock hard, the ice cream was unavailable because of broken refrigeration and I was very unimpressed. Will not be returning and would not recommend

Awful. My wife and I feel badly for their employees. Understaffed. Mediocre food/drink quality at BEST. Way better places to get food, coffee and chocolate in the area that actually make their own products.

Ate lunch here with a friend of mine today. The two cashiers said that they were the only employees working today due to short staff which is understandable but they didn’t seem knowledgeable of what they serve. We ordered the ham sandwich with a side of pasta salad and the ham tasted like it was undercooked. Came home feeling sick which was possible that it was from the sandwich. Gross! Don’t recommend eating the food from here but I’ve always loved the hot chocolate, coffee, and ice cream!

A truly unique local business, they've got a bunch of different things all under one roof with the grill food, chocolate, coffee, pastries and ice cream. The sandwich, ice cream were all awesome.

Definitely not open until 10 pm on a Friday night. We arrived at 9:40 pm, tried 3 different doors, and all were locked. Lights were on but no one was home.

5 staff and 4 customers I stood first in line at cheesecake register and was never served left after 20 minutes. Very disappointed. Staff at candy counter said I had to wait for for cheesecake cashier to return.

The cafe in here has great food. It's refreshing to come here and eat as they have unique dishes that are made fresh when you order. My favorite so far is the chicken Philly sandwich, but I can vouch for the grilled cheese being fantastic too. My kids also love the indoor playground which is free to visit and a great way to kill an hour or so.

I love going to this cafe, and especially bringing my out-of-town family and friends there. It's just a good vibe, and awesome hot chocolate and mochas.

Visited at 2 PM on a Sunday for a birthday party. The cafe had double booked so one party was in the party room and the other party was next to the play place. The party room was pretty big and quiet but lacked extra seating. The play place area was loud. After the party, we walked around a bit and the place is very large with several different sections. There is a candy section, a chocolate section (fudge, individual chocolates, chocolate-covered pretzels), a coffee area, a bakery with cake and baked goods, and a grill with food. The cafe ladies weren't the friendliest but one young gentleman was helpful and walked us to the party area when we didn't know where to go. The women's bathroom was pretty clean but not kid friendly (tp very far from toilet and sink faucets far away). Parking wasn't an issue at all and it wasn't very busy. Not sure if I would return again to eat but perhaps for a slice of fudge or cake.

I waited at the counter for 20 minutes while someone was working behind the counter. Totally ignored me, and yes, she DID see me. Finally got someone from another counter to come and wait on me. Customer service is really bad. Atmosphere is great. The food is good too but if you get something from the bakery (eg. a piece of coconut cake) BE SURE to insist on getting a piece from the middle and not the end piece. I don't know how long it had been there but it was so dry I almost choked on it. Once I sliced off the edge (about $2.50 worth), the rest was great.

The muffins are good, and the coffee tastes just regular, the prices are too high.

So many different layers to this place.y wife and I split a coffee and a slice of cheesecake by the fireplace, then played board games later on.
