Really great coffee shop on a cool block. I only get the coffee but the food looks great. Always has great music playing (punk rock and indie)

I haven't had the food yet but I'm sure its just as awesome as their atmosphere, service, and matcha!

Small town Cafe with the edgy city vibe. If you are stopping in during the warmer months make sure to grab a cactor. You will not be disappointed.

Best coffeeshop In NWI tied with dagger mountain, but for very different reasons. Great variety of drip coffee if you're a cool guy coffee lover like me, but also a massive variety of various seasonal drinks in both hot and iced iterations. Sandwiches are (relatively) simple but all very tasty. Many people are asking where they stand on the long held egg vs chain debate in punk, as their staff seems to have an equal mix of "tuff guys" and "odd balls ". Do with this info as you please. Ask for a dialed in shot of redline if you'd like to have someone roll their eyes at you but receive something tasty.

Pretty great place with an awesome atmosphere, but I feel like it's just a little bit overhyped.

Most delicious coffee and hot chocolate in all of NWI. Great vibe and wonderful service as well. It’s a gem. Don’t miss it!

I'd show a photo, but the food was too good and I ate it all. Great coffee shop, with a surprisingly diverse (and yummy) menu. In the drive between Detroit & Chicago, if you're hungry and wanting something more than the normal chain restaurants or unhealthy food, this is a great pop pick:)

The Turkey Dolo was one of the best Sandwhiches I ever had, but the coffee was OK and the service was Very dry and tired the need to smile more and be a little more pleasant.

Last week I got some boxed lunches, from some catering company. I didn't realize where they were from until after. Let me tell you, probably two of the best sandwiches, I've had in a long time. I work in the West Loop, Turkey and Chicken Salad were so good. Not sure if it was the apple in the Turkey, the dressing in the Chicken, but they were equally good. I'll be stopping by to try a few more.

Been here twice. The first time I thought the drip was not good but hey, everyone has a bad day. Second time, drip still not good. Tastes like gas station coffee. I bought some bakery items and they lacked flavor.

Thankfully Grindhouse Cafe was here to feed us some delicious sandwiches! A place down the street advertising as a sandwich shop had nothing and we were getting disappointed. I was able to find a few vegan options here too! Cool vibe and tasty latte.

Been going here since it opened. Food is good, drinks are decent but not my favorite, baked goods are made in house and also very good. 1 star off because the staff are usually acting like you’re a nuisance to them.
