02/07/23 I set out for a good cup of coffee. I was given recommendations for Gem City Junction. Cup of coffee to go was just ok. 👎on the El Corazon whole bean from 11/21. The porker croissant was good. Meh, I wasn't impressed.
Makes for a decent cup of coffee and a beautiful atmosphere.
They have a good variety of coffee flights that include tea and cocoa, plus their pumpkin roll was delicious!
My wife and I met at this coffee shop. The atmosphere is cozy and the coffee is good ☕. We sat many times in there just to talk. When we got married the owner was kind enough to let us take pictures in the shop. It was perfect 👍
Stopped in for coffee on my trip across the state. Thought a small town coffee shop would have better coffee than the gas station. Nope! It tasted like burnt plastic. About 30 minutes later I had stomach cramps and they lasted for several hours and messed up most of my day!
What a GEM! This great Coffee Shop and Cafe in Frankfort is a wonderful local place, but also a sweet retreat for an out-of towner who needs a place to perch for a few hours a couple times a week! Drinks are fantastic - love the smoothies! Food is great, too, but I must admit my favorite is the Fiesta Panini! Clean and comfortable dining areas. Friendly staff. Casual atmosphere and a nice variety of spaces for individuals to work or small groups to meet up for coffee and conversation. Also, enjoyed the old-school CCM. ;)

Gem City is the place to be if you are looking for a great coffee/snack, friendly service, and a clean, well decorated atmosphere. Pro-tip: Get the cinnamon roll. It’s worth every calorie. :)
The cinnamon rolls will change your life for the worse. Other delicacies will sit on your tongue with a tasteless disgust as you find yourself ceaslessly comparing them all back to these morsels. These rolls must be direct shipped from someplace where angels dwell. It's hard to go on without thinking of them always.
When we visit this shop coming from FL, I enjoy the caramel latte! This last visit included a late lunch split with my husband. I was impressed that our lunch was split on two plates in the back and brought to us. I felt pampered!!
Been here multiple times, taken both of my Children here with no incident. Normally the staff is very friendly. However yesterday (July 25th 2022) the Male owner decided to be unkind. My wife asked about the "specialty" for July. He said "no, not really, well technically I can, but i d rather not." Why have it listed as your special? If you aren't going to actually make it ? That soured us on ever returning. Hopefully he's nicer to other people. After reading the "response" it's a Nope. Don't advertise a special for the month. And then refuse to make it. It's really simple.
Warm atmosphere, lots of local art displayed on the walls. I don't spend $5 on a cup of coffee very often, but this place is an exception. Prompt courteous service and good coffee.

Americano was good. Very clean and relaxing place
Better than Starbucks. Not only is it cheaper but they are very family friendly and have board games and a friendly staff.
