Ice cold
Quite literally the greatest soda machine in Indiana, if not the Midwest. Don’t listen to the 1 star review, the soda is always fresh and cold as the Rockies. This is truly a national treasure.
Grew up going to the pop machine. Too bad I never get to go that way, anymore.
I always have a pile of quarters for stopping at the Packerton pop machine. It is without question the best coldest soda pop allowed by law. It is a must stop bucket list destination.

Dirty mike and the boys hardly even bother you, small price to pay for the most magical can of soda pop since I left Nam.
I think I’ve died and gone to high fructose corn syrup heaven! This soda-pop machine is a beautiful oasis of carbonated syrup water unlike any other. Me and my wife Norma, and our 8 kids, Jeb, Jib, Jil, Jon, Jed, Joy, Jak, and Moesha, look forward to our weekly pilgrimage to this glowing Mecca of sweet sweet thirst quenching bliss. I highly recommend anybody passing through to make a stop at this wonderful dispenser of love, happiness, and diabetes.

literally the coldest pop machine in northern indiana, whenever there’s a train driving through packerton we always stop and get a coke.

I’ve got no idea who fills this thing but can vouch that it will spit out a cold can. I give it five stars simply for the utter randomness of its location. Too bad the neighboring trailer removed the Chucky doll from their window. That plus this machine made this one of the most quirky intersections I’ve ever seen.
