This place is so cozy and welcoming, and my barista Kat was a ray of sunshine. I'm not in Wauconda often, but I'll be back here when I am. ☺️
What a gem! The pastries are fantastic! My personal favorite is the cherry almond scones. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious. Coffee is also very good, and the staff has always been friendly. I'd happily drive past 3 Starbucks to go here.
Fantastic bakery and coffee shop! Employees are extremely helpful and friendly, breakfast sandwich and coffee the barista recommended were delicious. Great atmosphere inside with comfy seats, a couch, and great music to top it off. Will be my new go to for breakfast/brunch over McDonald’s or the such, feels good to support local small businesses. Highly recommend!!

The bakery items are a bite of heaven. Cinnamon roll and a cranberry orange scone. The coffee is pretty good too. Got the Americano and Irish cream latte. Definitely coming back for more as I like to support locals.
Whisk bakery was fabulous to work with to create a custom cake for our daughter’s birthday! They helped advise us on different flavors for the two layers and both were so delicious! We would definitely order a cake from them again!
My granddaughter picked up dark chocolate cupcakes with raspberry frosting for my 90th birthday party. Both flavors are my favorites. They were the best tasting cupcakes I have ever had and at my age, I have eaten quite a few. Thank you for making my day extra special!

Love this local charm bakery! Unassuming building exterior with tasteful touches on the inside. Coffee is good and pastries are fresh.
Ordered a small cake for the bride and groom to cut... It was perfect! Groom wanted Boston Creme, and it was so yummy! Julie and her daughter were awesome and easy to deal with. Wikll definitely order from there again!

I love whisk bakery!! Julie and all her staff are incredible. They made this awesome cake for my dad’s retirement and it was delicious. Also the peanut butter cookies are my jam!
I would give Whisk ten stars if I could! My son & his fiancé called to order me a surprise birthday cake 🎂Normally it takes a week but they did it in two days. And WOW! Cherry blossom trees with flowers 🌸 around the entire cake, along with so many other details!! On top of that they wrote Happy Birthday in Korean accurately AMAZING! The first bite was memorable too🤤

I ordered a custom cake for my mom’s 75th birthday. She wanted something special. I ordered a custom cake of cannoli filling with orange cake. They were very helpful over the phone. The cake was decorated really simple and cute. However, the orange cake was incredibly dry and not a lot of flavor. The filling was just ok, not a lot of flavor either. For the price, I would have expected a moist cake. Unfortunately, this isn’t my first negative experience with Whisk. I decided to give them a second chance. The first time I ordered a coconut custard pie. They said they could do this custom order, no problem. Again they are super nice and helpful over the phone which is appreciated. When I picked it up, I found out it was coconut cream, not coconut custard as I ordered. Unfortunately, another disappointing experience for a special birthday. They have great cinnamon rolls and egg burritos but I will not use them any more for special custom orders any more.

A pleasant coffee shop hidden along Main St. It has a couch for seating along with two softer chairs in front of the fireplace and other harder chairs. I personally think it should do away with all the harder seating and get more comfy chairs.
