Caribou is the best coffee in DeKalb-Sycamore, and barrista Eric is the best! I've been to cafe's in Italy, Venice and Paris, and he is a whiz: Two or more drinks at one time--no problem. And always a kind word and a helping hand.
Such a bummer… being from Iowa I was so excited to find a Caribou within an hour drive (being as I live in Rockford). But I was quickly disappointed when my mocha had WAAAY too much milk and not enough chocolate. I fully realize that this is tough the Caribou way (they actually melt chocolate in the steamed milk versus using drinking chocolate combined with the espresso which is far superior IMO), but this is what sets Caribou apart. Obviously I’ll return to let them try again, but this is a HUGE issue at satellite Caribou Coffee locations. Please please please make Caribou stand out so you can have more locations! Update: AMAZING mocha today! Issue resolved and so happy to make the drive down from Rockford!
Like the seasonal flavors, not a full fledged store, but good enough selection.
Can’t go wrong here . Tastes way better than Starbucks and Dunkin and price is lower .
This was my first time trying Caribou Coffee, not only was it delicious but the barista was so kind. I was very indecisive and was recommended the Turtle Mocha, which was phenomenal!!

Best coffee and raspberry lemonade in Sycamore. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Got to meet the owner Linda on one of my coffee runs.
Great coffee creations, much different flavors than the run-of-the-mill other chains, but a little higher priced.
