Had a group of us meet for lunch. Quaint little pub that is BYOB. which was fine since I had some in the cooler. Food was great and so was the service.

Sunday morning brunch - quaint, neat place for breakfast. Food is good. Omelette made to order; you pick your ingredients. Even has a neat bookshelf if you want to read.

My friend and I met a few of her family members here before heading to Galena. The tomato-basil soup was the best I've ever had, and I loved the grilled cheese sandwich. I would drive the two hours just to have it again!

Great place to eat. They are always busy so be prepared to wait a bit but I really think it is worth the wait👍❤️👌

Had a delightful experience here. Came from Savanna Il for a drive and stopped here for lunch. Randomly. Great lunch and Eva our waitress was very kind and professional. Biggest kindness gift was someone/somebody bought our lunch anonymously. What a beautiful kind thing to do! Thank you so very much. Food was good. Tomato bisque and grilled cheese. I had gyros and made delicious. Thanks Stella's!

They have a cool ceiling. 😎 Clearly a local's joint and outsiders are not greeted with welcome arms. We stood for a full minute before we finally asked and a terrified fourteen year old told us we could sit anywhere. We sat and were ignored until we inquired about a menu and were told that on Sundays it's buffet only. We serve our plates and sit down. We wait another minute because we still don't have silverware or coffee and finally ask if we can get some. We're told we have to get it ourselves?! There was no water offered or service provided. Food was okay for buffet.

The only option when we had was a buffet so we agreed we would stay and do the buffet. Being a chef and someone who teaches food sanitation for the state of Illinois I maintain high expectations when eating out. First let me say all staff need to be properly trained in food safety and sanitation. The woman replenishing the buffet picked pancakes up with her bare hands - her bare hands!!! The gentleman at the omelet station did not have liquid eggs stored properly and the amount of cross contamination that took place was alarming. The fresh cut fruit tasted like onions - obviously cut on the same cutting board as onions. Very disappointed. Once I witnessed the buffet food being touched with bare hands we got up from out table, paid our tab and left. Hoping no one gets sick today.

Ordered our food and 45 minutes later snippy waitress said she forgot to put our order in asked for the bill for the beverages and she handed us the bill for the whole meal we didn't receive

Staff was very nice and accommodating. We stopped by for a quick lunch and had to leave in 30 minutes (totally our fault). They prepped the food very quickly and the food was very good. We ordered a salad, the big mc, and the BYO burger. All options were delicious. Thanks to the staff!

The food was fantastic! The service was disappointing. We were there 60 min prior to closing. We were pushed out the door as service staff was wanting to close. They turned away customers at 130 when closing at 2.
