This is a wonderful place located in the beautiful west side Gables! The staff and manager are great and really get to know you! Personal service and good food is what this cafe is all about! This is our first stop every morning. I can't say enough about Malinda, Hallie and Brad. With the attached Pease's store this is a definite destination you won't want to miss!
My daughter and I come in here for brunch and treats at least once a week. The staff is very cheerful, friendly, upbeat and ready to serve you. They treat my daughter like she's a star and the anesthetic is very candy shop willy Wonka style. They always have something new and yummy! Everything you could ever want: Sweets Treats Cakes Macaroons Candies Omelets Quiche Cheesecakes Muffins Coffee Milkshakes Lotus drinks Alcohol And more!

Just found my new favorite lunch spot! The food was SO GOOD. So many different candies & sweet to look at, cute gift items, & got to enjoy the patio area on the last nice day of the season! Can't go wrong here.
I called ahead to buy two chocolate caramel apples. They looked good, but lacked much flavor. Also they used medium sized apples.
Went in early to purchase 3 boxes of truffles as gifts. The recipients were delighted with the quality and the dark chocolate/raspberry truffle I had was scrumptious.
Well let's face it, a trendy place in Springfield is hard to come by. The Gables.... for the affluent of Springfield lmao. The hot food is good. The grilled cheese is incredible! Chocolate samples are rationed depending on who is serving or what you look like lol.
Swung by for coffee bc it was close. OH MY!! Perfect espresso. Needed NO sugar. They use local roasted beans. The desserts and chocolates looked AMAZING. I will go back next time I'm in Springfield. 10 stars.
Had there bacon gouda cheese burgers and chips. Burger was way over cooked, one piece of bacon and one small bag of chips at best for a side. I can say, people were friendly. Candy was pricey, but it is Peases.
Had the California Chicken Salad on white bread and kettle chips. It was very good. Employees were very pleasent.
Great drinks, great chocolate, and great service! We stopped in for coffee dessert drinks. I got a raggedy ann frappe and it was delicious! We got a couple small boxes of mixed chocolates and they were all very good but I loved the lemon filled one the most! That was surprisingly good! I love that they sell alcohol here too. Pretty unique. If I lived in the area, I would definitely meet up with friends here.
Stopped by Pease's at Bunn Gourmet and walked in wow from the front door. Been to a lot of sweet treat places, but this one tops the others. Staff is really friendly and there to help with the big options of selection. Iced latte was great and ice cream treats were good. Definitely suggest for a calm, yet pretty atmosphere and amazing treats.
Great atmosphere and place to eat! The older lady with reddish hair however was rude when we picked up our food. She could’ve been a dishwasher but had big attitude.
The food is always fresh and good. Service is above par as well! Would definitely recommend!
