Great find! Local gem. Overjoyed to find this wold class coffee roaster on a recent trip to Rockford. Fantastic drip and art in an oat milk latte a sign they know what they’re doing. Grabbed beans as well and very happy with light roast Rwanda.
Good morning menu. To be fair, I'm not a coffee drinker. I ordered a milkshake! Nice atmosphere
Had the coffee and caramel cashew ice cream. They were both delicious and some of the best ice cream I’ve had ever. Very creamy and thick ice cream without being too sweet. Was so enthralled eating I didn’t even get a chance to take a picture.
Came here for a "Living Room tour" by Bad Bad Hats, an Indie Rock duo from Minneapolis. We had the Loaf Cake, a 12oz Drip, a BREAKFAST EMPANADA, a SEASONAL SHRUB w/Extra Double Shot of Espresso, and 2 Single Scoop of excellent ice creme. Too much bread in the empanada, but otherwise great. The place was packed, and Bad Bad Hats put on a super, personal, show. I had always seen them as a full band, so this was special. Thank you Rockford Roasting Company for hosting this!
I absolutely love their vegan baked goods!
All plant based menu, had the vanilla cupcakes today and OMG so good
Best coffee I’ve found. For real, in Rockford, who would have thought?!?!
the brunette barista named hallelujah or something was super nice & cute
Great coffee. Just stopped in for gift cards. Great coffee. Love local whenever I have the option.
Great coffee, love the environment, the pastries and bagels are really good. The baristas are really friendly
The coffee is easily the best in Rockford, it's made it hard to get coffee anywhere else without wishing I was there instead. Lovely, friendly environment. Always a fun rotation of engaging artwork and seasonal drinks. Staff is super friendly and they all seem really tight with each other and the community of regulars.Wifi works great and there is plenty of seating at both locations if you need to set up and get some work done. There are also many community events throughout the year too, I've been to several and it's just a great time (tattoo pop-ups, art shows, anniversary parties etc). Definitely one of my favorite places in Rockford!
Hallela is so sweet! Management is very kind, atmosphere is lovely and provides a great work space.
One of my favorite places! I will never look at coffee the same way again after frequenting this place for years now. If you’re lucky enough to go while they’re roasting their beans, you will know what I’m talking about. Let’s just say there’s a reason this is Alton Brown’s favorite coffee.
Much larger space than the other location and even meeting room available. Downtown Rockford needed this!
Great coffee! I always order the iced lavender latte and it’s consistently the same no matter who makes it. Only complaint, the coffee doesn't come in a larger size. Update: over the years customer service has downgraded. As well as dropping the ball on having bulk orders of coffee ready. It’s a hit or miss as to whether one will receive an email when the order is ready or if it’s ready in the specified timeframe. Ben has been the only one in the past to even offer an apology. I’m delighted they have a second location but please try to keep the quality that has earned your high reviews. Still a loyal customer!
Cute little coffee roaster in downtown Rockford. You can watch them roast while having a cappuccino. Most importantly, excellent coffee.
Dirty chai was delicious.
Great coffee. Nice pastries. Lots of space. Atmosphere is pleasant. Recommendation for coffee lovers.
Terrible first impression. I am a first time subscription customer and no one will respond to my voice messages or email. So disappointed.
Omg! Lavender latte is THE WORD! Need I say more? Awesome to have discovered this complete gem of a true coffee shop! I will be back :)
