Our battery died at Wally’s in Pontiac IL. Without hesitation Jeff, the Assistant General Manager came out to assist us with a jump ( the battery still would not turn over). After we discovered that the battery was leaking acid, Jeff returned and helped my husband remove the battery with additional tools from the store for the stubborn blots. Jeff even took my husband to the dealership across the way so we could purchase a new battery —and he even helped install it. Jeff stood firm on declining our token of appreciation. Jeff, you rock!!! Thank you so much for you help, your patience, and kind demeanor. We will always stop by this particular Wally’s to and from Chicago. Mark and Lisa, St. Louis MO

Best fastfood quality Fish Sandwich I have ever eaten, more than enough for two adults.During the day ,they serve fresh Fried Potato chips. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Wallys has 100 different drink flavors and all kinds of snack & souvenirs. Fresh Popcorn is Excellent! They have a 100 gas pumps so they never wait to ever fill your car. The ONLY issue is that there is no place to sit and eat even though they have enough space outside for 100 people or more and sell all this yummy Food and sandwiches .

Friendly staff, clean facilities, bright and open atmosphere, the perfect place to recharge, grab a snack and get back on the road. My home away from home.

No Truck Parking! This place is just like Buccee's. They want our money, but not us low class drivers that literally bring them everything they've ever owned! Minus 5 stars.

A pretty neat place, and the first new "Route 66 attraction" to come along in decades, but be warned: while the food is good, there's no place to eat it. We stopped by, picked up a delicious brisket sandwich, and found that there wasn't even an outdoor picnic table on-site (we asked at the check-out counter, and were told there was nothing). We ended up sitting on the concrete with our backs resting on a lamppost. I guess the management assumes people will eat in their vehicles--not a workable alternative if you're on a motorcycle, or for that matter if you have small children with you. Shame, because the food is good and the place is a neat kitschy stop.

This place is magical. I feel like I could just swim in a sea of Wallys gas stations. It’s like church and have an all at once. Good Christian women serving food to poor and desolate patrons.

Used to love this place. They hate first responders. Spent $157.xx today for gas and souvenirs and got stigmatized for "attempting to steal" when my co-workers and I had met up here to celebrate having a day off. By the time we got to the cash register after meeting up here, a cashier said, "About time you guys are ready to leave." Male, 20s, blonde go-tee, and a neck the shade of red. I drive up here every 2-3 months for my own family from Peoria to have family outings simply to buy brisket sandwiches and popcorn when heading to Chicago to Bears games. Put some outdoor picnic tables near the 'dog-park' and quit crapping on people who support your company without prejudice. If my money isn't good enough, I can gladly spend it elsewhere. Think they do this in Fenton? I doubt it.

It was my first time ever in here. The place is way better than going to an Oasis. We tried their breakfast burrito, and it was amazing and cheap. Bathrooms are very clean and nice. Staff is very friendly. I wish I could stay longer but have a destination to go.

Not sure if this is taboo, but very very similar to Buc-ee’s. Great gas prices and lots of food and snacks and other goodies to choose from and very clean.

Reminds me of a bucees. Hot dog and brisket sandwich were good. The cookie was decent. It's a good place to stop for lunch as a driver but absolutely no overnight parking which is understandable.

Needing use the restroom on the drive home at 4:00 am when I stopped at Wally's. The doors opened automatically and welcomed me in. The restrooms were immaculate, the COFFEE bar perfection, and the staff ALL welcoming at 4 AM. Definitely, stop by WALLY'S!

Fun place! I know everyone talks about the bathrooms, and there is a reason they are amazing. We got drinks and snacks. They are known for their barbecue and their popcorn, as well as their baked goods. You definitely feel you are on a road trip!

Our trips to Wally's are always fun. I really enjoy looking over all of the candy selections. I love that they now serve their beef jerky bulk so that you can buy it by the pound. I also like all the camping supplies around their Winnebago. Products from Lodge. Always catch my eye. I did see a solo campfire pit, the ones that are smokeless. I haven't tried one but it looks like it might be possible that it would keep the smoke down.

I absolutely love this place. I stop here every time I am in the area. I usually get their huge and tasty fish sandwich, but today I got the pulled brisket sandwich.... and let me tell you that when I combined it with their BBQ sauce in the little cup... it transformed into a Stairway to Heaven and I transcended taste barrier to heaven!!!! both sandwich and sauce were amazing but you could eat a shoe even with that sauce!

I would give it five stars if only they had one more thing. I'm handicapped cannot walk because of my back. If they had carts to hang on to it would have helped. Or a place to sit down or any kind of handicapped scooter. Unfortunately I had to leave early and could not finish my shopping because of this just a few chairs would help. Otherwise the place is fantastic.

New to us, Wally's was a bright spot on our 5.5 hour trek to visit our daughter and her family. We had recently visited our first Buc-ee's, and we believe Wally's compares favorably while maintaining its own character. The store is large, bright, and airy, with plenty to engage the weary traveler's attention. The restrooms are exceptionally clean, modern, and well-maintained. Touch-free soap, water, and air dryers at each sink station are a pleasant surprise. For those of us who prefer paper towels, I am happy to report that they were also available. The food stations are impressive (BBQ, popcorn, bakery), with carts offering fresh fruit and boiled eggs as well as other selections. Packaged snacks, jerky, coffee, fountain drinks, liquor and beer are plentiful. Souvenirs and amusements for the kiddles are fun and unique. Gas prices at Wally's were well below other stations in the area. We're glad we stopped, and we'll visit again.

I didn't get to walk around the whole place but from what I saw, there were many snack/hot food and drink options. There was also a clothing section. It's a BIG store. The bathrooms were super clean.
