I'm so disappointed. I came in there yesterday. Normally, they are pretty fresh if you get them in the mornings which was what I did. I literally got a burnt, dry looking donut. It's kind of ridiculous for them to sell something like that. I'm not sure if they also changed the recipe on the crueller ones. They were not moist at all. On top of it, it just looked extremly different

How do they not have any donuts by 6pm when they close at 8? :( I shall call them just “Stan’s” from now on.

Worst Stan’s. When I asked if they had any more donuts in the back, I was told no. A white lady came after me and the cashier let her know right away they had other donuts in the back. Clearly, better service is given to white people than colored folks.

This place is really neat. The staff was friendly and the food and coffee were delicious. The sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich was really good.

Donuts were great! Coffee was trash. They should have been more honest when I asked. It was like a medium roast that had metallic aftertaste. Gross...but again, the fresh donuts were fantastic!!

Sadly would not recommend. Stan's has the right look going for it, the right name as it reminds me of Wayne's World and hey is a movie that celebrate Chicago culture! As well as has free internet. Ordered two dounts and a medium coffee. The coffee tasted plain and seemed to have an off taste. The donut i ordered were a glazed and a a Reese pieces type on that had a chocolate taste. The glaze had an off taste as well and felt that it was a little stale. The reese one, however, was hard to consume and had a overpowering chocolate taste that made it taste more like a bad cake than a donut sadly. I could only eat half of it as it was making me feel sick as well as the after tatse havimg an odd tatse. For a place called Stan's dounts i was expecting more and what i got was an overpriced ($9 for coffee and 2 donuts) and over powered donut that seemed not to be made right as well as gave me a little headace. Would not recommend sadly and would recommend for a good donut in the area to try Lilac Bakery in Lombard or Kuppies Bakery in Villa Park. For this direct area of Oak Brook Terrance, your best option is Dunkin on Roosevelt or the 7-11 down the street. Cheaper and better.

I love Stan’s in the city! This one was OK. They had gnats inside of the glass case w/ the donuts… would not recommend that. Coffee (decaf) was definitely not decaf as I was bouncing off the walls an hr after consuming. Cute decor inside.

I love Stan's usually, but the last couple of times I got donuts at this location, they were not fresh. Most were hard and stale. The only one that was consistently fresh tasting was the Biscoff. And I ordered a dozen 2 different times. For the amount of money you're charged for a dozen donuts, they need to be fresh. When I went in the following day to get a single donut and coffee, I did let an employee know, and the response was, "That's weird, they're made fresh daily" No way that's true. Eh well. Live and learn.

So I enjoyed their breakfast options and their coffee, I just had one thing that sort of took me by surprise. They don’t give out traditional condiments other than ketchup and cream for your coffee, and it’s all dependent on who is taking your order through the drive through. I went a few times and had the loveliest girl 👧🏾 super sweet and very friendly. Adored her energy!! I asked for ketchup and honey, and she pulls out a box full of honey and grabs a few and then did the same for the ketchup and hands them to me. I got the next day and get a guy with glasses and a beard 🧔🏾 he’s nice when taking my order but after I left my tip, he takes the machine back and I ask for the same items I got the day before from the super sweet girl “can I have ketchup and 2 honeys?” And he’s clearly lies and says “oh ketchups in the bag and we don’t have honey here” so I said “no problem, do you guys have any jelly’s or jams for the breakfast sandwiches?” He says “no, we don’t offer those here either, just ketchup” The following day I go and get the super sweet girl, and she again, hands me honey and ketchup. Just out of curiosity, I asked if they offered jelly’s or jams and she sweetly said “yes of course, we have grape, and strawberry, would you like for me to get you some?” I said, “ah no, I just wanted to know for future reference. I would have given this place the full 5 stars but found it incredibly strange of that small detail. It kinda bugged me because, who lies about such trivial things. I just wish the sweet girls level of service could be duplicated across every drive through server. But nevertheless, if you get her, you can rest easy and know that you’ll be taken care of.

I ordered a tray of mini donuts for a work meeting. They were delicious and a big hit. Dominic helped me out when I picked up the order and was so friendly. He acted like I was the greatest customer ever, and it started my long day off on a wonderful note.
