Never knew about this place till this morning. Me and my brother where heading over to Indiana for a diesel truck show and I had mentioned of the gas station in town to grab breakfast as we drove by we noticed this place and thought let's try this place and we didn't regret it! Good atmosphere and good food. Like to stop by during the day for lunch, I'm sure it's good aswell.

Had a super breakfast! The plate -sized pecan pancake was meal enough for 2. Came at recommendation of camping hosts; didn't disappoint!

I was going to give a 2* based on the food.. but service was excellent. So.. they got a 3*.. We has a hour to kill last night so we went there for supper... My husband and I both had sweet tea.. they had 2 specials so we got them but different.. Timothy got loaded nachos and his only complaint was that the nacho sauce drowned out the flavors of everything else.. I had goulash... but the pasta was WAY overcooked.. and it was more Italian than German.. if the pasta was not overcooked then it would not have been as bad.. just tasted like spaghetti or something.. We also had dessert.. they offer a variety of pudding type cream pies.. and a couple cakes.. they wasn't bad.. but the cake was too sweet and a bit dry.. It is advertised as having antiques.. but I am not sure if they do that anymore simply because I didn't see much to offer.. just a bit in the decor.

Plate size pancakes! The chocolate chip and blueberry pancakes were delicious. Also had perfectly cooked bacon & scrambled eggs. Breakfast burritos were wonderful. Fast service, good variety and we felt so welcome.

Sitting in Hutsonville Illinois is a small cafe, Wabash Coffee Shop, where all the locals come for coffee, meals, and town gossip or just an easy conversation. Stopped in today for lunch and was recommended The Horseshoe 🧲 . It was different. Hamburger sitting on Texas Toast. French fries pulled on to with melted cheddar cheese over everything. As I said, interesting. Stop in and tell the locals hello as you get a bite to eat.
