Stumbled upon this adorable coffee shop heading home from a music festival and the baristas were so nice, plus the girl working made me her own special latte and it’s DELICIOUS :) 10/10
I love the atmosphere. I enjoyed both coffee and ice cream this visit. To be festive I had eggnog ice cream and pistachio ice cream as the two scoop dish.
Great staff, great ice cream, scones & coffee! Ordered an affogato & it was so delicious! Took a scone to go which I froze & ate later. I make my own scones which are hard to top but the texture in this one was so good! I will definitely keep this place on my radar. Next time I’ll probably try some different flavors this scone was orange but so perfectly balanced with moisture & crumbles with a really nice glaze. Kudos to the baker! Yum! 😋
Very friendly staff/owner. My iced Mocha was amazing. Grateful for this coffee spot not far off the interstate

Would give zero stars if possible. It used to be the best coffee shop around. There was a dude who worked on there who rocked a Steelers cap who did a fantastic job and is never there on Sundays anymore, and that young blonde girl has no idea what she's doing it seems like. My old lady and I show up every Sunday and these past few Sundays have been the worst experiences we've ever had with a coffee shop. Unless they get that dude back in there on Sundays, we will legitimately never be back, and that sucks because we used to like that place.
My sister and I stopped in before church for some fellowship and coffee. The atmosphere, service, and experience was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this business for your meetings and events!
Be consistently awesome at what you do. Focus on your restaurant and the execution, while also improving. The Union Cafe should have a Michelin Star. I stopped here while driving from Indianapolis to Duluth, MN.
Wanted some ice cream on way home. Found this cute little out of the way ice cream shop. The customer service was very friendly and the ice cream was so yummy.

Easy for travelers to access. It's right off the expressway in an area that doesn't have much. Bakery case, plenty of seating. On street parking but easy to do. Coffee, a few menu items and ice cream.

Cute little coffee cafe in Downs IL! We tried the coffee ice cream and played a game of four corners. The tables all have different games to enjoy with your treat.

Ordered a honey latte cold and it was pretty bad. The coffee was super burnt and definitely not espresso. Tasted like really old Folgers. I really appreciate the reply and will try the place again when we drive through the town! Thank you!

Great ice cream. Coffee is a staple here as well along with several types of desserts. Nice folks with indoor seating in a restored building as well as outdoor seating.
It's a great local spot to get coffee and/or ice cream and chill with friends.
