I’m visiting from out of town and was looking for a local coffee shop. This place is phenomenal, excellent coffee and great service. I will make it a point to stop here whenever I’m in the area.
Had hot chocolate, could have been more hot !
LOVELY place to stop have coffee and conversation. There were board games and plenty of fresh air. It was a great place. Besides the fact that my coffee was beautiful AND delicious.
Great place for coffee. Fairly crowded, however, coffee was delivered quickly.
My favorite spot downtown, The River always provides a calm and cozy place to slow down and relax. No matter what you're looking for, they have a drink for you. Not feeling coffee? They also have delicious teas and lemonade. Their seasonal menu never misses!
May be to achieves the pattern, the drink was less hot. But we need the coffee to be served with more hot !
The. Best. Ever. Real cold brew. Real everything. Latte art. Cappuccino ratios. Metal straws. It’s great. Whenever we are in town this is our local mid morning or mid afternoon pickup. Bring the laptop or your friends. Great space for work AND play. Unique drinks that slap too. FOMO is real.

Legit amazing coffee, atmosphere and service. Third time here, Highly recommend no matter what your knowledge of what great coffee should taste like! Only wish I would of found this place sooner.

I absolutely love coming here. It’s clean, inviting and smells so yummy. I like that every single cup is made to perfection. Each cup is made like a little piece of art. The vibe in here is always chill and they have carcassonne.

Incredible coffee shop that would satisfy even the most keen coffee lovers. The coffee they roast and brew here is phenomenal. The way it is presented if you eat in is really unique and creative. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with plenty of space to sit and enjoy a brew while working. I visit town occasionally from ChicGo and can always be found here with one of their incredible pour-overs. The owner is always around, he has a great vibe and customers are treated well. I absolutely love it here. They have the right recipe at The River Coffee Company.
Small local coffee house in Decatur, excellent product, very imaginative menu, service is solid, and definitely a comfortable place to grab a cup of coffee.
Love this Coffee shop, always so welcoming, and their peppermint Hot chocolate is the best. This is way better than the Starbucks I'm used to
