Poor management I saw one of them speaking very inappropriate to a worker like she was they child on the floor I never wanted to see a black owned business treating there employees like that then got a little snappy at me like I did something wrong. The place overall need to have air conditioning that just made me not want to sit down an enjoy my items I purchased but maybe that’s why she seem to have an attitude please do better we have to do better because you never know who’s watching. Oh and I will not be returning just do better.
Management is terrible and doesn’t care about its customers Was told go somewhere else because a mistake was made with my drink
Employees were nice and they drew a bird on my to-go bag. I wish they put the same effort into my sandwich tho. I have no clue how this place has a 4.6 star rating
Coffee shop up front with ample indoor/outdoor seating and coworking space in the back. Full service coffee shop with sandwiches, coffee, smoothies, and pastries offered. My review is for the coffee shop. In terms of the working environment it was very good because it's a professional-looking working environment and not an art museum. The seats were comfortable, the colors in the room were professional (again, because it's not a theme park), and the music was what you would find anywhere. Great and friendly staff!
No signs for order or pick-up. My first time there. Standing there awhile. Someone stated they thought I ordered. I said my first time here. They told me to come down to the other end. Signs would be helpful!
The coffee is super good, and I had the chicken sausage with egg and cheese on a croissant. Worth every calorie!
I happen to be in Chicago for the Tastemakers Conference for food bloggers from all over the world. This coffee shop was mentioned and I knew I had to make a plan to visit. Well I am so glad I did. I walked in and the atmosphere was incredible. The staff was friendly and here is the best part. When I arrived and it was my turn to order. As a food blogger I like to let the staff tell me what to try without letting them know what I do and this is what I did. I told her I like sweet iced coffee and she suggested an Iced Caramel Apple 🍎 Butter Latte with whipped cream and it was fantastic on a scale of 1-10 I give this coffee shop a 12!
We have never been there in person, but we regularly order the Almond croissants, Chai latte, and chicken sausage sandwiches on Uber eats. Let me tell you, if you like Almond croissants, hell, even if you don't like almond croissants, you gotta give these a try. These are some of the best Almond croissants I have had in my life, only beat by the boulangeries in Paris. The portions are huge, and they are consistently tasty. The chicken sausage sandwiches are also really good. I have heard their coffee is also top tier. I highly recommend the almond croissants with some chai latte. You can thank me later.
Food was kinda expensive ($41 for 3 coffees & 2 sandwiches) and the self-checkout kiosk was confusing. It didn't seem too busy but the staff seem to struggle. I waited over 20 minutes for my order to be finished. Staff was kind, just disorganized. The iPad area near the toasters looks crazy and a potential fire hazard with the electrical cords, toaster, and panini press. The thermostat food probe should be ALWAYS sanitized before and after use. The staff took it out of the mug that had miscellaneous items, used it, and placed it back in the mug. PLEASE SANITIZED BEFORE/AFTER USE. My only suggestions would be to focus on only coffee. The breakfast foods are rip-off for they are cheaply made and don't taste good. The coffee was delicious, though.
Great neighborhood shop. They make great drinks, have tasty pastries, and the staff is friendly.
Loved the look and design of the place. Coffee was delicious and not too sweet. Nice staff
They didn’t care to take my order.
Mocha Latte and Kolaches were solid. Cool spot.
Yummy coffees and great food. I love their chicken sausage croissant, my fave breakfast item.
Momentum Coffee is a great little spot. It is conveniently located right by a green line stop for those who want to grab something on the go. They offer a simple selection of food and drinks. I ordered a sandwich and a chai latte. Both were delicious and very reasonably priced. I stayed and worked. Wifi connection was strong, music was nice without being overpowering, and plenty of seating options with outlet access. Everyone was extremely friendly and seemed genuinely kind. I will definitely visit again :)
Purchased a small black coffee. There were three people behind the counter and only three customers when I walked in. Service was very slow! 😔 Coffee and customer service was good. I’ll be back BUT not when I’m in a rush.
Excellent chicken sausage egg and cheese croissant, and their lattes and mango smoothie was delish! Staff was very friendly!
First time at this joint and the hot coffee was delicious.
Had my first cup of hot coffee and a blue berry muffin. Both were delicious!
I visited Chicago last week and had the distinct pleasure of visiting Momentum Coffee. What an experience! The space was captivating! The coffee was smooth, hot and tasty. I had a Matcha Latte with oat milk and an almond croissant. The almond croissants are like no other. There is almonds filler and paste through each bite! It's not just a hollow croissant with a little almond paste. I tried my friend chicken sausage and egg croissant. Also delicious! In all the experience was great. Took a Matcha to go! It was my first coffeehouse experience in Chicago! Won't be my last.
