Stopped by La Colombe and was served a nicely prepared Cortado with a good amount of milk to cut the sharpness of the espresso. Nice job by the barista, would stop by again based on this experience.
On a short visit to Chicago, my wife and I enjoyed our first visit to La Colombe so much that we came back the next day. The baristas were friendly and skilled. I drink espresso, and I appreciated that they offered two different single origin beans as espresso in addition to their house blend. Both were medium roast, and while I prefer a light roast, I tried both single origins each day and enjoyed them all. They offer sparkling water on tap, which is always appreciated. My wife enjoyed her oat milk lattes. The space is nice, and we enjoyed watching all the local customers walking their dogs.
This cold brew was heavily recommended but a friend, so we came in with very high expectations. It was a nice vibe and great place for a walking quick coffee stop. Not a lot of seating and not the kind of place you can work from home, and the cold brew was good, not life changing as promised, but very good.
Usually the best cafe in town. But today was really bad... Me and my friend got a black coffee and a mocha and hers had a fishy taste and mine was super burned and old... I will definitely change this rating should I be contacted and reimbursed....
Went in this late afternoon to buy coffee and was given exceptional service by all the staff, especially by the barista who made my oat latte and helped me pick out my coffee beans. As a tourist in Chicago it was nice to enjoy an awesome coffee in a great little cafe. The coffee is so good! Highly recommend.
First time at this coffee shop, and it’s great! The ambiance the baristas. Coffee was amazing!

Mediocre coffee, poor selection of pastries. Only 4 tables to sit. Will never come back.
We had a cortado and moka. Both were delicious. The moka wasn’t too sweet, just the way I love them. No bitterness in the coffee beans they used.
The best coffee!! Space is a little tight but coffee is worth it.
The team is spectacular. The only downside is that the shop is too small. The team is amazing and coffee knowledgeable. This place is a must visit. Be sure to try the oatmilk latte Nitro draft.

Have loved this place for three years, great people, great service, great coffee, but came here to ask did you change the way you make croissants, they used to be perfect and now they are either undercooked or dried out? Please revert!
Coffee: excellent presentation and high quality. Fantastic cappuccinos with attention to detail. Fun seasonal drinks such as a draft pumpkin oat milk latte. Service/friendliness of staff: hit or miss. Unfortunately you are more likely to experience the holier than thou barista than a friendly one, but the coffee is so good I just deal with it. Seating: limited Bathrooms: clean.
