Had a large drip coffee, was well rounded and a delightful cup, also had a double shot that was sour and bitter and possibly under extracted. Overall nice ambiance, polite staff. I’d return for a coffee if in the area again.
Free cup of drip with purchase of whole bean; dark roast Rwanda blend. I'm looking forward to trying some dark roast physchedelic coffee.
I moved and still drive 15 min to get my fix here. Very good
Great local coffee shop - very friendly owner who supports the local community in a big way!
Great place. The muffin I had was delicious. Max and Augustine are very fun and relatable. Highly recommend!
Quite on this Saturday afternoon friendly neighborhood atmosphere and staff. On-site roster in Lagan Square.
I am a coffee roaster myself. Have been for many years. This place is turning heads in Logan Square. Albeit humble and tucked away, this place has some of the best and most thought out coffee profiles that I have tasted in Chicago, wrapped up in a non-pretentious tiny cafe. No smirking baristas here. Don't miss it. The Psychedelic Dark Roast has completely changed the way I view darker roasts. Zero ash or carbon type flavors and an incredibly rich body. I loved it so much I took a bag on my trip overseas with me! My lady friend got the Brown Sugar Latte and you could not wipe the smile off her face. The cinnammon finish on the top looked awesome. My new favorite spot. A must stop in Logan Square.
Cute on the outside and cozy on the inside. This coffee bar has an intimate aesthetic, great staff, and whats best one of my favorite lattes in the city.
This is my new spot for the next couple years. Some of the tastiest & most balanced drip coffee I've had in Chicago. I was in on a slow morning and got to chat with Max working there for a bit - they have great coffee knowledge and seemed enthusiastic about all things coffee. They made me up a brand new bag of beans from the back that best fit the flavor profile I was looking for (and it is a delicious bag). Cool vibes inside too, I'll be recommending Jimmy Beans to pretty much anyone and everyone!
Super el café y los 🥘 se los recomiendo
Great service, fun and welcoming layout, good smells and delicious things to eat. Staff is friendly and efficient, clientele seems happy. Just a blissful place!
I should start off with: I am not a coffee drinker. But today I felt like having some coffee and needed some help deciding what to drink. Usually baristas intimidate me but my experience was great! And look forward to visiting again soon. The pastries there looked amazing and the space felt comfy and relaxing. Check it out!
Super bien el desayuno
Jimmy Beans is a neighborhood gem. The coffee is freshly roasted, you can always find a bag of coffee that was roasted in the last month. They have a variety of specialty coffee, and many beans are single-origin. They have some basic coffee brewing supplies too. I like buying my beans here to support a small local roaster.
Great atmosphere! Very chill and quaint. Excellent and friendly service. Coffee is delicious and made beautifully.
Went there for the first time today and had a really great experience. Barista was incredibly kind and coffee was great. Thank you for making my day better!
Taste bad. Won't repeat.
Good espresso, vibe, and employees. It's nice to see the coffee roasting equipment in the back as well!
So glad they know how to pull espresso properly 💖 great deal on their bags of beans too! Definitely add their bags to your collection, the Paupa New Guinea made for an excellent pour over.
Great coffee and friendly service. Excellent fresh pastries.
