Sooo cozy inside! There’s couch seating, Wi-Fi, boba/beverages and snacks that are really decently priced!

I got a delicious cappuccino and they do all espresso drinks, but also have bubble tea and pastries. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable and the gentleman behind the counter advised me on the best restaurants around for dinner.

Such a cozy place to either get work done or hang out with friends! Owners are so kind, friendly, and super hospitable! Love that they're open until midnight, I love studying here until late night. The menu selection is great as well, from ramen to coffee to bubble tea and paninis. All around super cozy and warm place!

I love this place! It's very cozy, we really like the bubble tea, I recommend taro, coconut, and mango flavor, if you want to enjoy something different for dessert, try their bingsoo, delicious!

One of my favorite cafes in all Chicago for the incredible value (I was really surprised at the bingsu pricing--owner said they haven't changed prices in years, even post inflation!), late-night hours (open until 12am!), and kind owners. Relaxing and cozy atmosphere with excellent, delicious drinks, desserts, and paninis. My friends and I always get the fruit bingsu (shaved ice dessert, generous amounts of fruit) with their taro latte! Super student friendly while being a great hangout spot at the same time. Thank you to the owners for stewarding such a valuable space!

Really relaxing, clean, spacious cafe and offers delicious hot drinks among other things like smoothies and food. Owner is super nice and accommodating. Great place to just hang with friends or get work done. Highly recommend the Milk Tea Latte and the Hot Cocoa

There’s an African proverb that says “you don’t enter an open home, you enter an open face” meaning you don’t just enter a place because it’s open, you enter it because the people occupying the place welcome you and are hospitable towards you. I would suggest hospitality classes

Last night, I was craving boba or milkshake. As I searched a place near me, Java and Mug showed up and I decided to go there. As I walked in, I was extremely shocked by the appearance of the restaurant. Cozy sofas, peaceful music, and calming atmosphere! Literally a great start. The oreo milkshake was amazing even though it costs $6. However, it still deserved 5 stars because of how comfortable it is to spend some quality time for yourself. What I love about this place is that it was open until midnight. I will be coming back again⭐

Nice environment but owner like a broken alarm clock, ringing every ten minutes to make sure you order or no sitting. I went in there with an assignment & wanted to order post completion as a reward for myself, but the owner kept interrupting and coming with “Order to sit, order to sit”. Ordered a Bingsu & to get him to stop interrupting my workflow, ended up only eating a fraction of it. Not the best way to build a brand. I get you're a a small business, but there are better ways you can encourage sales instead of being pushy. Adapt to the western culture way of business.

I have gone here many times and each time I leave satisfied! I usually get a turkey panini and bubble tea and they are always very good! The paninis also come with bread pieces topped with jam and whipped cream that are so good. The atmosphere is relaxed and many of the seats are couches. I would definitely recommend this place for a chill lunch or dinner for a group of 1-8!
