It's supposed to close at 7pm but it was closed at 5:58pm.
They add same number of espresso shots(2) regardless of the size 12 oz or 16oz. Be aware!
Very friendly baristas. The coffee and pastries are really good.
Fresh coffee beans but you obliterate the milk and burn it.. Not a great coffee might just be a poorly trained barista.
Yummy nitro brew and oat milk latte. Coffee is swiftly served while the calming vibe and beautiful interior create a more relaxing space.
A little pricey, but overall good. Drinks are very fresh.
Excellent coffee. Not much seating so grab and go. Conveniently located. Note it's a grab and go spot - there are like 3 seats max.
Small coffee shop, not the best coffee but very unique and familiar atmosphere. Not much tables and chairs
I ordered a hot latte and it was served luke warm at best. When I went back to ask the barista to heat it she made me feel like I was asking for too much. If you’re paying $7-8 for a simple latte when it’s cold outside the least you’d expect is for it to be hot and the barista to be accommodating.
Great coffee, but I normally order a mocha and I have a nut allergy; no accommodations were possible, had to change my order. Still awesome coffee and service
Great little shop! Service was pretty slow and no place to sleep but that was because they were busy!
If you have not experienced pour-over coffee stop it Fairgrounds. They do the pour-over style which gift such bold flavor to your cup of coffee. The decor on the inside is very nice and the staff are very friendly and efficient in their coffee making processes.
Cute, busy cafe with great coffee! We stop in here every now and again when we visit the Art Institute. Even on busier mornings, we can usually get in and out with our coffee and baked goods pretty easily. The decor is well done and we enjoy waiting near the lobby. Coffee and lattes are also always high quality!
Honestly i used to come here all the time but lately my experience has been awful. Why am i paying $7 for a latte when there’s only one person working and it takes forever? And what kind of coffee shop doesn’t have pastries???
Top place for a special hot coffee. Amazing!
Service was s little slow since only one person working but I loved my heart at the end, it made up for everything.
The coffee here was the best I had in Chicago over three days. The Barista was excellent and provided good advice and delivered an excellent drink. It was a spontaneous stop that provided the best surprise on the trip.
Pour-over (and espresso-based) coffee place inside the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel. Nice staff, good coffee. What else do you need?!
Not sure how this place has so many decent reviews. Go in with airport food expectations. The breakfast sandwiches are cold and they simply warm them up. The sandwiches don't have the aioli as advertised and the bread is fairly stale. The cold brew coffee is weak without much flavor and the Vietnamese cold brew is flavorless and has no sweetness.
Great coffee drinks! This little coffee place needs accurate and better signage to help tourists like me figure out where to order without having to ask. Help yourself to water, but pay no attention to the sign offering water with bubbles, cuz there’s only still tap water. Skip the cramp tiny space to drink your coffee and head right up stairs to the warm, darn, cozy lounge if the Chicago athletic club! They have 3 fireplaces up there and a full bar!
