The best thing about this place is the customer service. Mitch welcomed me in with open arms and asked me about moving to the city. He was so so friendly and so was the rest of the staff! Also the coffee choices are sooo many and it was so yummy! I get a sugar-free iced latte from Starbucks, and it was basically the same but it was nice to support a smaller business. The coffee was a bit pricey, but I loved the experience and will definitely be coming again!

The espresso here is superb. Dark, full-bodied, perfectly pulled. I also enjoyed the ENORMOUS gluten free oatmeal bar. I only remembered to take a photo after I'd eaten half of it. Check it out! Truly generous proportions. This was my first visit and i will def be back. A beautifully maintained, unassuming neighborhood spot.
I’ve been going to this local coffee shop for a little over a year now since moving to the area. I love how friendly and personable the staff is. Their drip coffee is delicious. I normally get the Rhythmic Blends House and stock up on a bag of the same beans. They have a great selection of pastries too. I grab a couple pain au chocolat. I always take notice of the bright, happy house music playing softly in the background when I visit, and today asked the owner who programs it. He does! He’s also a DJ. It was a nice bonding moment as I too am a DJ. Love this place and highly recommend it!

Honestly I just stopped here on a whim because my baby was fussing and i needed somewhere nearby to feed him. But man am I glad we did! The staff was so nice (they delivered my order to me when they saw I couldn’t get up) and the avocado toast blew me away!!! Highly recommend! I’ll be coming back
Their coffee lattes cortado even teas are so good but their OPEN TOASTS are die for!! They’re not just pretty looking but so tasty!!! Their pastries are also so yummy!! Chocolate pudding bread is so soft and good! So happy to find such a cute cozy place with awesome foods and coffees 👍
I never pay for avocado toast but this coffee shop makes the exception. A coffee and toast from here is the perfect start to my weekend morning.
Great coffee spot with some awesome food options as well. There’s not much seating, so getting a table is pretty lucky. I think it’s pretty known for being a good spot.
One of my favorite coffee shops in Chicago. Such nice people everytime I go in. Always a warm welcome and not to mention the coffee is so good.
Cool space but coffee is not good. My cappuccino tasted like an ashtray and you can always it won’t be good if it comes in a 16oz size.
We've only been in the area a year and a half but Doppio quickly became our local spot! Thought it was about time to post a review. The highlight here is that all of the staff and owners we ever been greeted by have been super warm and welcoming. We generally get takeout (or sit outside when it's nice), but they have a cozy space indoors too. The overnight oats are handy (there's a vegan one too), and they have a nice selection of donuts, kolaches, croissants in the morning. I've never ordered the fancy toasts, but they look delicious leaving the kitchen so I probably should. And I'm not a connoisseur and everyone has their preferences, but we found the coffee here (espresso or drip) is more mellow than some coffee spots which is what keeps us coming back. They are very accommodating (decaf, soy, oat, fewer syrup pumps, etc), order online is available and easy, and they have a rewards program which has paid off for us a few times now! Check them out if you haven't :-)

Lovely little shop, with the best peppermint mocha in town (and I've tried a ton)
The open face sandwiches were delicious here and they had a vegan option. My friend really enjoyed his ancient grains and I had the salmon on multi-grain. The coffee looked very well prepared. I had a dirty chai and the chai mix was pretty bland but when I come back I'll probably just skip to a regular coffee or get a latte.
Warm environment, lovely staff, and delicious coffee! The best part is the FOOD! Huge portion sizes for the price you pay. Much love and success to the owners.
Amazing coffee house! Food is excellent and the staff are all so nice! Delicious coffee, one of the best avocado toasts I’ve ever had. Also their overnight oats, energy bites, French toast muffins, egg sandwiches are all fantastic. Was visiting from New York and went here every morning 😋!
Came here a couple months ago with a friend and loved the food and drinks so much that I felt bad for not leaving a 5 star review! The presentation, flavors and textures of the food items were well designed to impress. I plan to come back many times.

Awesomely cool independent coffee house with hip vibe, kind, welcoming and professional staff, and food and drinks that are both a step above. Highly recommend the danish (blueberry and strawberry both yummy), the pomodoro open-face sandwich (shown) and the feta cheese puff (also shown).
