I’m really glad I stumbled Across this fine establishment it’s funny how you run across stuff in life and I don’t think it was a coincidence. Coffee, Hip hop and mental health has the best tasting coffee I ever tasted, and also has a great story behind it that has me wanting to work on my mental health. I can’t wait to bring my lady here it’s the perfect place just for that!

Christopher the owner is one of the kindest souls I have ever met. Got to enjoy wonderful conversation while he brewed up absolutely perfect coffee in a cup with an inspirational message that I swear was hand picked just for us. I had the Lil Kim Dirty Caramel Latte and my wife had the Beyonce lavender and honey. Both were sooooo good. I had to buy a shirt just so I'd have a reason to talk to people about this amazing coffee shop in the future. Coffee, Hip-hop and Mental Health has earned a forever customer anytime I can make it back to Chicago.

Bottom line: Great coffee, great mission. Great local shop to support! Been following this concept for a while and it was nice to visit the permanent location! Always love coffee with a side of empowerment. Treat yourself to that raspberry buckeye donut while you're at it.

Cafe with a very worthwhile mission to support. Great spot to chill and work from, especially if you're into hip hop. Everyone is friendly and inviting. Men's therapy most Fridays and group therapy most Sundays.

I went in just looking for coffee and was on the block. I left feeling inspired by their mission as a nonprofit mental health organization that sells coffee to connect w the community and help raise funds. Christopher made our coffee while hanging conversation and talking to us about the mission of the organization. A truly great experience. I will pick air bnbs in this neighborhood just so I can support again in the future on my future visits to Chicago.

I got the Normalize Therapy, and I ate it all before i could even remember to take a picture😅 The donut was a cinnamon old fashioned, and was a delightful texture: the right mix of sweet and moist, and crunchy. The donut was served on top of my Watch the Throne Lavender & Rose latte (also spectacular!), with whipped cream and white chocolate drizzle. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and pleasant. This is someplace worth coming to again and again, and supporting in all ways. 10/10 I would recommend.

The drinks are SO GOOD. I had the new special and it was delicious! I felt like the food critic in ratatouille, when he eats remys cooking and is transported to his childhood- that was me. The drink was sweet with just enough lime! It reminded me of getting coconut and lime ice cream outside La pulga as a child in the west side. Amazing.

I don't normally leave reviews, but I had such a pleasant experience that I feel compelled to. Coffee, Hip-Hop & Mental Health has such an awesome atmosphere, the workers are so friendly and the mission is so wholesome I couldn't help but walk out with a smile. I will definitely be back

There are a lot of great coffee places in Chicago but this is next level. Got a cold brew with rose & oat milk. Beyond delicious & making my whole weekend. Love the atmosphere plus the mission: slam dunk.

I got there right when they opened around 8am on Thursday and Bella who was working was so nice! My cinnamon crunch old fashioned donut is delicious — soft in the inside, perfect crunch of sweetness on the outside! I ordered a lavender oat latte, which was donation based (suggested $6/7) and it tastes immaculate! Really nice chill vibe especially when it’s early in the morning! Highly recommend this place 😌
