A great cup of coffee. Enjoyed their pastries but they are not fresh.

Visiting from out of town and found the nearest highest rated coffee shop from my hotel. The honey oat milk latte is excellent! The chocolate croissant was great too.

Lavender latte is really good along with their seasonal drinks. Staff is always very pleasant to interact with.

The coffee was a dark roast (which I'm personally not a fan of) and they only have coffee blends, no single origin

The best coffee I’ve had in the US, and I’ve been here for 3 weeks. Those guys know what they’re doing! Highly recommended

Loved the fact that they used actual chocolate to make their mochas (which were still incredibly balanced and not too sweet at all). My partner got the hot cocoa and loved it. The blueberry muffin was yum too. Good place to go!

Lovely little downtown coffee shop. The staff was very warm and friendly. The pastries were great. They bring some nice artistry to the coffee without making it fussy. 5/5 would come back anytime downtown looking for coffee

I would recommended. The pastries were delicious but I ordered a hot chocolate and when I got in my Uber to try it, it was borderline cold. I can only assume it was a one time error because everything else was good.

Cute cute cute downtown coffee spot. If you live or work in the area it is a must. The only downfall is the tables are in an adjacent building's vestibule.

Nice little place, I had cappuccino, which was really good, I like it another place I would consider better than Starbucks

One of the best caffe in the city and in River North! Service is great, they have tables you can work in but the place itself small. They have options for every dietary restriction and sweetener preferences.

Great place for espresso, and other coffee drinks. Latte has a good balance and flavor and the espresso was just right for me. Little piece of chocolate you get with the order is a very nice touch!

Always busy and acquiring customers because it is a community favorite! Great location by the riverwalk! Really enjoyed the matcha latte.

Such a cute little cafe! The barista answered my questions regarding a dietary restriction I have and I was able to enjoy a nice cup of tea with a friend. 10/10 would recommend this place!

Great coffee with many roast options. They also sell very delicious kombucha and pastries. However if you come with a big company there are not much place to seat. If you are a coffee lover this is surely a place for you. Highly recommended.

I'm in town visiting my cousin and decided to give Cafe Umbria a try. I'm so glad I did! Very helpful and friendly staff. I purchased 2 different bags of coffee (she offered to let me try what they had brewed and also ground it to my specifications) and I also got a latte and it was very good. I only spent $33 so that's a steal in my opinion. I will be returning if I make it back to Chicago. If
